Winchester Opera House

The Opera House in Winchester, Kentucky, United States was designed in 1873 by the first Mayor of Winchester, J. D. Simpson. The opera house was a gift from the mayor to Winchester's citizens so they could enjoy performing arts. It hosted off-Broadway and classical concerts.

The building fell to industrialization and became rundown from years of neglect. It was bought by Edward and Vanessa Ziembroski in 2003, who renovated the building.

Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) is a public community college in Lexington, Kentucky. It is one of sixteen two-year, open admission colleges of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). It was formed from the consolidation of two separate institutions: Lexington Community College and Central Kentucky Technical College. Lexington Community College was the last remaining college in the University of Kentucky Community College System, until a vote by the trustees transferred governance to KCTCS in 2004. Prior to 1984, the college was named Lexington Technical Institute. Central Kentucky Technical College was part of the Workforce Development Cabinet of Kentucky State Government until the creation of KCTCS in 1997. The S. P. Kerr Building is a historic building on the northwest corner of North Main Street and West Broadway in Winchester, Kentucky. The building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing property in the Winchester Downtown Commercial District. Built in 1889, it is a three-story brick building with stone sills and lintels and a rounded corner entrance flanked by rough-hewn stone columns. The building contains about 32,000 square feet (3,000 m2) of space.

The Boston Opera House, also known as the Citizens Bank Opera House, is a performing arts and esports venue located at 539 Washington St. in Boston, Massachusetts. It was originally built as the B.F. Keith Memorial Theatre, a movie palace in the Keith-Albee chain. The chain became part of RKO when it was established just before the theater opened on October 29, 1928, and it was also known as the RKO Keith's Theater. After operating for more than 50 years as a movie theater, it was rededicated in 1980 as a home for the Opera Company of Boston, which performed there until the opera company closed down in 1990 due to financial problems.
