Baldwin County is a county located in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Alabama, on the Gulf coast. It is one of only two counties in Alabama that border the Gulf of Mexico, along with Mobile County. As of the 2020 census, the population was 231,767, making it the fourth-most populous county in Alabama. The county seat is Bay Minette. The county is named after the founder of the University of Georgia, Senator Abraham Baldwin.

Mobile County Public School System (MCPSS) is a school district based in unincorporated Mobile County, Alabama, United States. The system currently serves areas of Mobile County, including the city of Mobile, with the exception of the cities of Saraland, Satsuma and Chickasaw. Saraland voted to separate its schools from Mobile County in 2006, with Satsuma and Chickasaw following suit in 2012. The system serves urban, suburban, and rural areas. Brookwood High School is a high school in Brookwood, Alabama, in the United States and serves grades 9-12. It previously served grades 7-12 until 2002. It is the third largest high school in the Tuscaloosa County School System. The school was established in 1927. Prior to 2014, the school was housed in a building designed by noted architect Don Buel Schuyler, who was a protege of Frank Lloyd Wright. In 2012, construction began on a new state-of-the-art building and was completed in 2013. The new high school opened to students at the beginning of 2014. During the fall of 2022, TCSS broke ground on a new football stadium, though the facility is being paid for by a $18.2 million grant from the Alabama Board of Education.

Russell County High School (RCHS) is a rural Title I public high school located in Seale, Alabama offering grades 9 through 12. The school enrolls 1,050 students in total and is the only high school in the Russell County School District. The school claims that it is a diverse institution. The student body consists of 43% caucasian, 47% African American, and 10% other ethnicities. RCHS proceeds Russell County Middle School, also the only middle school in the school district. There are five elementary schools surrounding RCHS; those schools are Dixie Elementary, Ladonia Elementary, Mount Olive Intermediate, Mount Olive Primary, and Oliver Elementary.
