Wiqruqucha (Quechua wiqru twisted, bent qucha lake, [2] "bent lake", hispanicized spelling Huecrococha) is a lake in Peru located in the Ancash Region, Huaylas Province, Yuracmarca District. [3] [4] It is situated in the Cordillera Blanca, northeast of Millwaqucha and Pilanku, and north of Pukahirka and a lake named Shuytuqucha.
Ancash is a department of northern Peru. It is bordered by the departments of La Libertad on the north, Huánuco and Pasco on the east, Lima on the south, and the Pacific Ocean on the west. Its capital is the city of Huaraz, and its largest city and port is Chimbote. The name of the region originates from the Quechua word anqash, from anqas ('blue') or from anka ('eagle').
The Huaylas Province is one of 20 provinces of the Ancash Region in Peru.
The Santa Cruz District is one of 10 districts of the Huaylas Province in the Ancash Region of Peru. The capital of the district is Huaripampa.

Its summit is 5,479 m (17,976 ft)) high and it is one of the southernmost peaks in the snow-capped Cordillera Blanca in northwestern central Peru. Tuco is located in the Ancash Region, Bolognesi Province, Aquia District and in the Recuay Province, Catac District. Lake Atuncocha lies in the Cordillera Blanca, northwest of Santa Cruz and Pergarumi, between Lake Rajucocha in the east and Lake Collorcocha in the west.

Jatuncocha is a lake in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru located in the Ancash Region, Huaylas Province, Santa Cruz District. It is situated at a height of 3,886 m (12,749 ft) comprising an area of 0.486550 km2 (486,550 m2). Jatunccocha lies in the Santa Cruz gorge between the peaks of Quitaraju in the north and Caraz in the south, northeast of a smaller lake named Ichiccocha.

Challhua, Wiksu or Huicsu is a mountain in the southern Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 5,487 m (18,002 ft) high. Challhua is located in the Ancash Region, Bolognesi Province, Aquia District and in the Recuay Province, Catac District. It is situated northeast of Caullaraju, west of Pastu Ruri and Tuco and south of Santun. One of the nearest places is the village of Wicso, located next to Callan creek, west of the mountain. This creek flows to the Pumapampa River, a right affluent of the Santa River.
