Sky World News Tonight (also known on air as World News Tonight) is an international news programme transmitted between 20:00 and 21:00 UK time weekdays on Sky News from 24 October 2005 until 10 July 2006. It was launched on 24 October 2005 as part of a revamp of the channel but ended less than twelve months later. The production team was responsible for compiling its three main features: Sky World News and the Sky Review and Business report. From its beginnings in the autumn of 2005, this programme was shown right through until July 2006. The show was cancelled on 10 July 2006, along with The Sky Report, as part of a minor re-shuffle of the Sky News schedules, its replacement was Sky News with Martin Stanford.
The show's presenter James Rubin can still be seen on Sky News as a World News Commentator although World News Tonight is no more.
World News Tonight featured in-depth reports, analysis and comment based on news from around the world regardless of whether it was being covered in the hourly broadcasts. It was presented by James Rubin and consisted of the main presentation desk revolving to a presentation position of Rubin seated in front of a neon globe with studio guests then able to be seated either side of him. Many of the show's guests appeared via link-up from other countries.
The focus was on events outside of the UK but the show usually incorporated brief domestic news updates. These were presented by either Chris Roberts or Gillian Joseph, who co-presented Sky News Tonight at 9pm. Sky News' Foreign Affairs Editor Tim Marshall contributed to the programme, and on occasion hosted during Rubin's absence. American neo-conservative commentator William Kristol also appeared from the U.S. as a guest contributor. Rubin also presented the show from international locations including Jerusalem (split between Israel and Palestine), and Aleppo (Syria).

Never Mind the Buzzcocks is a British comedy panel game show with a pop music theme. It has aired on Sky Max since September 2021, having originally aired between November 1996 and January 2015 on BBC Two. The original series was first hosted by Mark Lamarr, then by Simon Amstell, and later by a number of guest presenters, with Rhod Gilbert hosting the final series. It first starred Phill Jupitus and Sean Hughes as team captains, with Hughes being replaced by Bill Bailey from the eleventh series, and Bailey replaced by Noel Fielding for some of series 21 and from series 23 onward. The show returned six years later, now hosted by Greg Davies, with Daisy May Cooper as the new captain and Fielding returning as a captain. The show is produced by Talkback. The title plays on the names of the Sex Pistols album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols and the band Buzzcocks.

He wrote a regular column on foreign affairs for The Sunday Times of London, and is currently Diplomatic Counselor to the newly elected Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The ITV News Channel was a 24-hour television news channel in the United Kingdom which broadcast from 1 August 2000 to 23 December 2005. It was available on Sky, NTL:Telewest, and analogue cable. It was also available during the morning on ITV Digital. The channel was carried by its replacement Freeview, although the launch of ITV4 saw its hours on that platform reduced to 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

He was the host of The Krypton Factor for its original 18-year run (1977–1995) and was the chief anchorman for the BBC regional news programme North West Tonight from January 1997 to October 2011. In November 2011, Burns moved back to Belfast where he was born.

The show was a television block which aired on Saturday mornings, consisting mainly of Disney television series dispersed between hosted content. The original presenters were Jeniene Mapp, James Sherry and Sofie Formica, and the final presenters were Nathan Morgan, Candice Dixon and Teigan Nash. Many hosts have gone on to achieve successful careers in Australian television.
Sky News Today is a live news programme on Sky News which usually runs between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on weekdays. The programme was presented by two anchors, however following on from the social distancing measures due to COVID-19, and the departure of Colin Brazier from Sky News, the programme is now solo anchored. Jayne Secker is the main presenter of the programme from Monday to Thursday with Samantha Washington usually presenting the Friday edition.
Football on 5 is the principal football programme on Channel 5 in the UK. The show first ran from May 1997 until July 2012. The show returned in August 2015 under the name Football League Tonight. For the 2016–17 Football League season the Football on 5 name was revived with the highlights show now called Football on 5: The Championship and Football on 5: Goal Rush being broadcast from 9pm-10.30pm on a Saturday with a repeat on Sunday morning. The show itself was initially sponsored by Wilkinson Sword, and would eventually be sponsored by Soccernet.com, Peugeot and SEAT, among others.

BBC Newsday is a news programme on BBC News that was first broadcast on 13 June 2011. The programme is normally hosted by Steve Lai or Mariko Oi in Singapore. The programme began as a dual-presented bulletin from Singapore and London. During important news stories, the programme has previously been broadcast from Washington with either Sumi Somaskanda instead of the traditional London broadcast. Such news stories have included the death of Muhammad Ali, Hillary Clinton receiving the Democratic nomination, and Donald Trump getting important votes in his presidential nomination for the Republican Party.
