Wunna Theikdi Aquatic Center is an aquatic center located inside Wunna Theikdi Sports Complex in Naypyidaw.It was built to host the 27th SEA Games. Construction began in 2011 and completed in 2013. It features one swimming pool (50 meter), diving pool and outdoor pool. It can accommodate around 3,000 spectators. [1] [2] The only international standard indoor swimming pools in Myanmar is this one and the Zeyar Thiri Aquatic Center from the military-owned Zeyar Thiri Sports Complex. [3]
The 2013 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 27th Southeast Asian Games, or the 27th SEA Games, and commonly known as Naypyitaw 2013, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event took place in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar from 11 to 22 December 2013, Around 4730 athletes from 11 participating nations competed at the games, which featured 460 events in 34 sports. The games were held from 11 to 22 December 2013.
The 2013 AFF U-16 Youth Championship is the 9th edition of the AFF U-16 Youth Championship, organised by the ASEAN Football Federation for the men's under-16 national teams of Southeast Asia. Wunna Theikdi Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. It can seat 30,000 spectators. The stadium hosted the 2013 Southeast Asian Games and 2014 ASEAN Para Games opening and closing ceremonies. In addition, it hosted the events of 2015 National Sports Festival and 2018 ASEAN University Games. Currently, it is hosting state and region sports competitions.
