XING Mobility is a provider of electric vehicle powertrain and battery technology. XING Mobility was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. [1]

Background

XING Mobility was founded by Royce YC Hong and Azizi Tucker.[ citation needed ] Xing Mobility was launched with the aim of developing race-derived advanced engineering and technology and supplying it to the global smart mobility market. [2] The company's first electric concept car, Miss E, debuted at the 2017 EV Taiwan exhibition alongside an early version of the company's second concept car, Miss R. [2] [3]

Miss E

Miss E is the first prototype electric race car developed by XING Mobility. Miss E was primarily developed as a platform in order to test some of the company's technologies. Miss E has a 450V motor, which produces 400 hp and 430Nm (221 ft.lb.) of torque. The battery pack is rated at 33 kW·h. Miss E has a claimed top speed of 288 to 300 km/h (179-186 mph) depending on configuration. [2]

Miss R

Miss R also a prototype electric vehicle. It has been designed to be driven both on-road and off-road. [4] The manufacturer claims a 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 1.8 seconds, a 0–200 km/h (0-124 mph) time of 5.1 seconds, and a projected top speed of over 270 km/h(168 mph). [5] [6]

It is considered to be proof of concept for the company's battery pack system. The design of the battery system allows each cell to be immersed in a non-conductive thermal transfer fluid. Its battery pack, which consists of 98 modules each containing 42 lithium-ion cells, is capable of producing one megawatt of power (the equivalent of 1341 horsepower). [7] The company reports the battery has a capacity of 52 kW·h. [8] The battery pack is user changeable and has been designed to be changed in less than 5 minutes. [9]

The initial concept car measures 4,000 (L) x 1,800 (W) x 1,300mm (H), while its wheel base is 2,950mm and its mass is 1,500 kg. [10]

Miss R was displayed at Goldman Sachs' Asia Pacific TechNet Conference held in Hong Kong on May 24, 2018, as well as AutoTronics Taipei held at Nangang Exhibition Center from April 11 to 14, 2018. [11]

Think Global was a Norwegian electric car manufacturer located in Bærum, which manufactured cars under the TH!NK brand. Production of the Think City was stopped in March 2011 and the company filed for bankruptcy on June 22, 2011, for the fourth time in 20 years. The company was bought soon after by Electric Mobility Solutions AS and production ceased in August 2012 with no more announcements regarding future production. As of October 2010, a total of 2,500 units had been manufactured at Oslo-based TH!NK's production facility.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">AC Propulsion tzero</span> Motor vehicle

The tZero is a hand-built electric sports car designed and built in very limited numbers by the U.S. pioneering company AC Propulsion in the mid 1990's. It was the inspiration and direct predecessor of the Tesla line of electric cars. The only part of the tZero that was not proprietary was the body that was based on the Piontek Sportech sports car, yet many parts of the body and interior were extensively modified. It consists of a Kevlar & Carbon Fiber reinforced body built over a custom hand-built reinforced stainless steel fabricated to package batteries space frame with double wishbone independent suspension and rack and pinion steering. AC Propulsion utilized their AC-150 drivetrain, a single-speed electric system with an overall gear ratio of 9:1.

The Rimac Nevera is an all-electric sports car designed and manufactured by the Croatian automotive manufacturer Rimac Automobili. The first production prototype car was released in August 2021. Nevera production has been limited to 150 vehicles. Having completed crash testing for homologation, Rimac planned to deliver the Nevera to customers in mid-2022. The first production spec Nevera was delivered in August 2022. Deliveries to the United States started in June 2023. The Nevera is manufactured in the same factory and at the same rate as the Pininfarina Battista, which is based on the same platform.

Automobili Pininfarina GmbH is a luxury electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer headquartered in Munich, Germany, with roots in the Italian car design firm and coachbuilder Pininfarina SpA. The company also has a design facility and office locations in Turin, Italy. Its first car, the Battista hypercar, has been produced from 2021. It was introduced at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2018, and 150 units are planned for production.

RAESR is an American automobile manufacturer founded in 2014 in Los Angeles, California by Eric Rice. The company is based in Los Angeles, California and specializes in the production of electric sports cars. Their prototype model, the "Tachyon Speed", was first introduced to the public in late 2017 through an electric vehicle infrastructure series made by E.ON, one of Europe's largest energy conglomerates.
