The Xallas is a river originating in smaller tributaries in Galicia, Spain close to Xallas.
The river passes by close to Santa Comba and flows through several barrier lakes (Fervenz, Ponte Olveira, Castrelo, Santa Uxia). The river flows into the Atlantic Ocean close to the town of Ézaro.

Ourense is a Spanish province, in the southeastern part of the autonomous community of Galicia. It is bordered by the provinces of Pontevedra to the west, Lugo to the north, León and Zamora, to the east, and by Portugal to the south. With an area of 7,278 square km., it is the only landlocked province in Galicia. The Tambre is a coastal river that crosses Galicia, in northwestern Spain. Its basin covers 1,531 square kilometres (591 sq mi).
Temescal Creek is an approximately 29-mile-long (47 km) watercourse in Riverside County, in the U.S. state of California. Flowing primarily in a northwestern direction, it connects Lake Elsinore with the Santa Ana River. It drains the eastern slopes of the Santa Ana Mountains on its left and on its right the western slopes of the Temescal Mountains along its length. With a drainage basin of about 1,000 square miles (2,600 km2), it is the largest tributary of the Santa Ana River, hydrologically connecting the 720-square-mile (1,900 km2) San Jacinto River and Lake Elsinore watersheds to the rest of the Santa Ana watershed. However, flowing through an arid rain shadow zone of the Santa Ana Mountains, and with diversion of ground water for human use, the creek today is ephemeral for most of its length, except for runoff from housing developments and agricultural return flows.

Mirador de Ézaro is a steep mountain road in Galicia, near Costa da Morte, in northern Spain. This road starts in the town of Ézaro by the river Xallas, and it reaches the summit by the homonymous viewpoint. The viewpoint has a magnificent vista of the mouth of the river Xallas, the slopes of granitic Mount Pindo, the cove of O Ézaro, the small Lobeiras islands and the unmistakeable shape of Cape Fisterra in the background.
Ézaro is a parish part of the municipality of Dumbría, in the province of A Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia of northwestern Spain. It belongs to the comarca of Fisterra. It had a population of 600 inhabitants in 2019.
