YMCA Hockey Club is a field hockey club based in YMCA Sports Grounds, Claremont Road, Sandymount, Dublin. They are affiliated to the Leinster Branch of the Irish Hockey Association. The club fields five men's teams and two women's teams in the Leinster Hockey leagues.[ citation needed ]

Cobh Ramblers Football Club (CRFC) is an Irish football club. The club, founded in 1922 and elected to the League of Ireland in 1985, hails from Cobh, County Cork and play their home matches at St. Colman's Park. The club's colours are claret and blue. Mary Leacy is an Irish sportsperson. She won camogie All Star awards in 2004, 2007 and 2010. She plays camogie with her local club Oulart–The Ballagh and has been a member of the Wexford senior inter-county team since 2001. Leacy captained Wexford to the All-Ireland title in 2007 and won further All Irelands in 2010 and 2011, and a member of the Team of the Championship for 2011.
Una Leacy is a camogie player and winner of two All-Star awards. Leacy's first All-Star came in 2007, the year her two early goals helped Wexford win their first All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship in 32 years, and her second in 2011. She won further All Ireland medals in 2010 and 2011.
Glenanne Hockey Club is a field hockey club based in Dublin 24, South Dublin, Ireland. The club enters teams in the Men's Irish Hockey League, the Irish Senior Cup and the Irish Junior Cup. Glenanne has represented Ireland in European competitions. They won the 2008 EuroHockey Club Trophy and were European Cup Winners' Cup runners up in 2002.
Harold Alexander Cahill, also known as Harry Cahill, was a Great Britain and Ireland men's field hockey international goalkeeper. He represented Great Britain at the 1960, 1964 and 1968 Summer Olympics. Between 1953 and 1973 he made 72 senior appearances for Ireland. He also represented Ireland at the 1970 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship. In 1961 Cahill won an Irish Senior Cup winners medal with Belfast YMCA. In 2006 he was inducted into the inaugural Irish Hockey Association Hall of Fame. He died on 18 September 2009 while on holiday in France.
The Kilkenny county hurling team represents Kilkenny in hurling and is governed by Kilkenny GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship and the National Hurling League.
