Yangchenphug is an eastern district of Thimphu, Bhutan. It is located across the Wang Chu River from the city centre and contains the Lungten Zampa School and Yangchenphug High School. [1] The main road is Dechen Lam which follows the line of the river and connects the district to Zamazingka in the south.

Thimphu is the capital and largest city of the Kingdom of Bhutan. It is situated in the western central part of Bhutan, and the surrounding valley is one of Bhutan's dzongkhags, the Thimphu District. The ancient capital city of Punakha was replaced as capital by Thimphu in 1955, and in 1961 Thimphu was declared as the capital of the Kingdom of Bhutan by His Majesty the 3rd Druk Gyalpo Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.

Dechencholing Palace is located in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) to the north of the Tashichho Dzong and 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) north of the city centre. It was built in 1953 by the third king of Bhutan Druk Gyalpo Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.

Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck King of Bhutan

Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, born 21 February 1980, is the current reigning Druk Gyalpo or "Dragon King" of the Kingdom of Bhutan. After his father Jigme Singye Wangchuck abdicated the throne in his favour, he became King on 9 December 2006. A public coronation ceremony was held on 6 November 2008, an auspicious year that marked 100 years of monarchy in Bhutan.

Punakha is the administrative centre of Punakha dzongkhag, one of the 20 districts of Bhutan. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan and the seat of government until 1955, when the capital was moved to Thimphu. It is about 72 km away from Thimphu and it takes about 3 hours by car from the capital Thimphu. Unlike Thimphu it is quite warm in winter and hot in summer. It is located at an elevation of 1,200 metres above sea level and rice is grown as the main crop along the river valleys of two main rivers of Bhutan, the Pho Chu and Mo Chu. Dzongkha is widely spoken in this district.

Jaigaon city in West Bengal, India

Jaigaon is a town in the Alipurduar district, West Bengal, India. It is located on the country's border with Bhutan. The main overland entrance to Bhutan is through Jaigaon and Bhutan Gate separates the two countries. Bhutan does not have domestic roads linking to all its towns, so Bhutan uses Indian roads passing through Jaigaon to reach such destinations as Samtse, Gomtu, Nganglam and Samdrup Jongkhar.

Princess AshiSonam Dechen Wangchuck is a princess of Bhutan. She is the daughter of the 4th King of Bhutan Jigme Singye Wangchuck and his wife Dorji Wangmo. She is half-sister of the 5th King, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

Princess AshiKesang Choden Wangchuck, is a member of the royal family of Bhutan. She is a daughter of the former King Jigme Singye Wangchuck and Queen Mother Ashi Tshering Pem, one of the former king's four wives, all of whom are sisters and held the title 'queen consort'. She is a half-sister of the current Druk Gyalpo Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, who became king following the abdication of his father Jigme Singye Wangchuck on 9 December 2006.

Raidāk River river in India

The Raidāk River is a tributary of the Brahmaputra River, and a trans-boundary river. It flows through Bhutan, India and Bangladesh.

Denchukha Gewog is a former gewog of Samtse District, Bhutan. Denchukha Gewog is part of Dorokha(Dophuchen at present) Dungkhag (sub-district), together with Dorokha and Dungtoe Gewogs. The previous Myona gewog is also merged with Denchukha at present. It is one of the remote village in the country. At present it is connected with road and electricity. Denchukha is rich in its biodiversity. The former Gup(head of Gewog) was Hem Raj Limbu and presently Chandra Bahadur Bhandari is leading the gewog. Denchukha is almost five hours drive from main town Samtse. Amo Chhu makes it extremely difficult and some times impossible for motor vehicles to cross this river. During winter a temporary suspension bridge helps to ease the situation with few vehicles dare to cross it. Summer comes with the cost of no vehicles crossing the river. There are few vehicles on the other side of the shore to help the needed at all the time. The ongoing Amo Chhu bridge construction which would link the gewog with Dorokha(sub-district) Collapsed on July, 2016 leading to many death. The government has pleaded for reconstruction of this bridge soon and public are eagerly waiting for the day to come soon. Denchukha has a lower secondary school called Denchukha Lower Secondary School in the heart of the gewog. There are many community schools in other remote part of the villages under Denchkha Gewog which helps to educate children from all walks of life. To educate the unfortunate by age, we have NFE(Non formal Education) centers which educates elderly farmers who didn't go to school.

Sergithang Gewog Gewog in Tsirang District, Bhutan

Sergithang Gewog is one of the twelve gewogs of Tsirang District, Bhutan.. Sarithang Gewog is located in the northwest of Tsirang District, east of the River Puna Tsang Chu, north of it`s tributary Buri Chu, west of Phuntencchu Gewog and south of Wangdue Phodrang District.

Princess AshiChimi Yangzom Wangchuck is a princess of Bhutan. She is the daughter of the 4th King of Bhutan Jigme Singye Wangchuck and Queen Mother Ashi Tshering Pem. She is a half-sister of the 5th King, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.
