Club Joventut Badalona, S.A.D. is a Spanish professional basketball club based in Badalona, Catalonia, Spain, playing in the Liga ACB and the EuroCup. Known to their fans as La Penya, it is one of only two teams that have never been relegated from the top division of the Spanish League. The only other is Real Madrid. In 1994, Joventut Badalona became champion of the FIBA European League, the first Catalan basketball club to accomplish such a grandiose achievement and the first Spanish team to do so in the modern era Final Four format.
Jordi Villacampa Amorós is a Spanish retired professional basketball player of Joventut Badalona, and former chairman of the club. At 1.96 m tall, he played as a shooting guard-small forward. His main skills and attributes as a player were his speed and a good long-distance shot. Villacampa is widely considered one of the best European swingmen of his generation.
Alejandro "Aíto" García Reneses, usually and most commonly known as just "Aíto", is a Spanish former professional basketball player and coach. As a head coach at the professional club level, García Reneses won the FIBA European Super Cup championship in 1986. He was also a Finalist of Europe's top-tier level pro club competition, the EuroLeague, on three occasions with Spanish club FC Barcelona: in the 1989–90, 1995–96, and 1996–97 seasons. He also coached Barcelona in six EuroLeague Final Fours. García Reneses also won five European-wide professional club championships. He won two European-wide 2nd-tier level championships, as he won the FIBA Saporta Cup championship with FC Barcelona, in the 1985–86 season; and the EuroCup championship with the Spanish club Joventut Badalona, in the 2007–08 season. He also won three European-wide 3rd-tier level championships, as he won the FIBA Korać Cup championship with Joventut Badalona, in the 1986–87 season, the FIBA Korać Cup championship with Barcelona, in the 1998–99 season, and the FIBA EuroChallenge championship with Joventut Badalona, in the 2005–06 season.
Pau Ribas Tossas is a Spanish professional basketball player for Joventut Badalona of the Spanish Liga ACB. Standing at 1.96 m, he primarily plays the shooting guard position. His father, Jordi Ribas, was also a professional basketball player.
Marcelo "Marcelinho" Tieppo Huertas is a Brazilian professional basketball player and the team captain for CB Canarias of the Spanish Liga ACB. After signing with the Lakers in 2015 he played 1+1⁄2 seasons with the Lakers before returning to Spain in 2017.
