Ylli Pango (born in, Tirana, Albania) is an Albanian psychologist, academic, writer, and politician.
Pango completed studies in mathematics at the University of Tirana, and later completed a postgraduate in psychology at the same university. He later completed graduate studies in education administration at Boston University through the Fulbright Program in 1994–1995.
Pango became the Deputy Minister of Education for Albania from 1992–1994, as well as Vice president of Higher Commission of Scientific Qualification of Albania and Vice president of National Committee of UNICEF of Albania.
He then lectured at the University of Tirana from 1997–1999, also serving as Head of Leading Committee of Albanian State Radio Television. He became dean of the university's Faculty of Social Sciences from 1999–2005, as well as serving as Political Counselor to the Albanian president from 2002 onwards.
He served as the Elected Depute of District nr.38 Tirana, Member of the Albanian Parliament-Deputy Head of Media and Education Committee from 2005–2009, and in 2007 became the Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of Albania.
As of 2010 Pango is the General Executive Director of Albanian Agency of Research, Technology and Innovation.
Additionally, Pango has written about 500 editorials and studies on psychology, social work, sociology and education.
Ramiz Alia was an Albanian politician serving as the second and last leader of the People's Socialist Republic of Albania from 1985 to 1991, serving as First Secretary of the Party of Labour of Albania. He was also the country's head of state from 1982 to 1992. He had been seen as a successor by Enver Hoxha and took power after Hoxha died.
Musine Kokalari was an Albanian prose writer and politician in Albania's pre-communist period. She was the founder of the Social-Democratic Party of Albania in 1943. Kokalari was one of the first published female writers of Albania. After a short involvement in politics during World War II, she was persecuted by the communist regime in Albania, and not allowed to write anymore. She died in poverty and complete isolation.

Behgjet Isa Pacolli is a Kosovar Albanian politician and businessman who served as the first deputy prime minister of Kosovo and minister of foreign affairs from 2017 to 2019 under the Ramush Haradinaj government. Pacolli is a former president of Kosovo, and served as the first deputy prime minister of Kosovo between 2011 and 2014. Pacolli was one of the signatories of the 2008 Kosovo declaration of independence.

The Bufi Government better known as the Government of Stability was an interim government formed after the resignation of the previous Nano government due to the aggravated situation in the country after the events of 2 April 1991 where 4 opposition supporters were killed in Shkodër during a anti-communist protest that led to the burning of the Shkodra Labor Party Committee. The Nano government resigned on 4 June 1991, and the next day the then-President Ramiz Alia, began negotiations to form a comprehensive government whose main objective would be to restore stability to the country, from which it took the name "Stability Government". Ylli Bufi was accepted also by the opposition to be appointed as Prime Minister, while one of the most prominent figures of the Democratic Party, such as Gramoz Pashko, was appointed Deputy Prime Minister.
