Yoon-Hong Kahn

Yoon-Hong Kahn FRPSL is a Korean philatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1996, the first Korean to be so honoured. He is also the first to receive a gold medal at an international stamp exhibition for a display of Korean material. He is a fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London. Kahn is a specialist in the philately of Korea, Japan and China. [1]

The Roll of Distinguished Philatelists (RDP) is a philatelic award of international scale, created by the Philatelic Congress of Great Britain in 1921. The Roll consists of three pieces of parchment to which the signatories add their names.

Álvaro Bonilla Lara

Archibald G. M. Batten

Archibald George Mount Batten was a British insurance industry executive and philatelist who was a specialist in the stamps of the Orange Free State. In 1976, he was awarded the Crawford Medal by the Royal Philatelic Society London for his work The Orange Free State - its postal offices and their markings 1868-1910 and in 1981 he was the first non South African to be elected to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists of South Africa. His collection of Orange Free State postmarks and covers received over 30 medals worldwide.

George Ernest Barker was a British philatelist who in 2009 signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists. From 1983 to 2001 he was Editor of The London Philatelist. He was a specialist in the stamps of France and its colonies.

Harry Lewis Hayman, (1850-1927) was a British philatelist who signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1921.

Umejiro Kimura was a Japanese philatelist who was entered on the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1921. He was the Editor of The Yuraku, the first philatelic journal in Japan. He was also the President of the Yurakukai.

Winter Charles Renouf CIE (1868–1954) was a British philatelist who signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1921. He was educated at Victoria College, Jersey. He edited the Philatelic Journal of India and was Hon. Vice-President of the Philatelic Society of India. His Indian collection was auctioned by Robson Lowe in 1960.

Lieut-Col. George South MBE TD was a British solicitor and philatelist who signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1974.

Brigadier Malden Augustus Studd DSO, MC, was a British Army officer and philatelist who signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1951. His son was Peter Malden Studd, a Lord Mayor of London.

Arthur D. Ferguson

Arthur D. Ferguson FRMS was a banker with the British Guiana Bank and a philatelist who signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1923. Ferguson was an expert in the stamps of British Guiana about which he wrote in The British Guiana Philatelic Journal. He was the founder (1903) and Secretary of the British Guiana Philatelic Society.

Raymond James George Collins was a New Zealand philatelist who was added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1936 and was the youngest man to receive that honour. Collins was unable to attend the signing ceremony in person.

Winifred Ethel Penn-Gaskell was a British philatelist who in 1938 was the first woman to be added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists. She was a specialist in aerophilately, and the philately of the Peru-Chile war. Penn-Gaskell was president of the Aero-Philatelic Club, London, and her collection of airmail and associated material was bequeathed to the Science Museum, South Kensington.

Leicester James Gilbert-Lodge was a British philatelist who was added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1954.

Max Guggenheim was a Swiss philatelist who was added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1976.

Bernard A. Hennig was an American philatelist who was added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1982. He was inducted into the American Philatelic Society Hall of Fame in 2015.

Börje Wallberg

Senior Colonel Karl Gustaf Börje Wallberg was a Swedish military officer and philatelist who was added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1994.

Frank Leslie Walton is a British philatelist and the former president of the Royal Philatelic Society London. He was formerly editor of The London Philatelist. Walton is a specialist in the philately of Sierra Leone. He is a signatory to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists.

Jane Moubray is a British philatelist who was formerly president of the Royal Philatelic Society London. Moubray signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1997.

Norman S. Hubbard FRPSL is an American philatelist and former chairman of the Philatelic Foundation. He was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1996. He is a fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London. Hubbard is a specialist in the philately of South America and Uruguay in particular.

Tay Peng Hian FRPSL is a Singaporean philatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1996. He is a fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London. Hian is a specialist in the philately of Burma and the Straits Settlements.
