The European Volleyball Confederation is the continental governing body for the sports of indoor volleyball, beach volleyball and snow volleyball in Europe. Its headquarters is in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
The Women's CEV Champions League, formerly known as CEV Champions Cup, is the top official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. Eczacıbaşı VitrA is the most successful Turkish volleyball club with 28 national championship titles overall since the introduction of a national league in 1956.
VakıfBank Sports Club is a Turkish professional volleyball club based in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 1986, VakıfBank SK is currently one of the best women's volleyball teams in the world, having won the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship a record four times and the European Champions League six times to date.
Valeriya Mammadova is a retired Azerbaijani volleyball player who played as a Libero. She was a member of Azerbaijan women's national volleyball team and was selected as the Best Libero of European Volleyball Championship in 2005 and 2017.

She has won gold medals with the Serbia women's national volleyball team at the 2018 and 2022 World Championships, and the 2017 and 2019 European Championships. She is also a two-time Olympic medalist, having won silver at the 2016 Rio Games and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
Anne Elise Buijs is a Dutch volleyball player. She has been a member of the Women's National Team since 2008. She is the daughter of Internacional coach and ex-volleyball player Teun Buijs, who trained her for several clubs in her career. Her mother and older brother were also volleyball players. She currently plays for Italian club Igor Gorgonzola Novara. In 2 March 2023, Buijs married Ana Carolina Da Silva, her long-time partner who plays as a middle blocker of Brazil Women's Volleyball National Team.
Bianka Buša is a Serbian volleyball player, playing as wing spiker. She had played for ŽOK Vizura Belgrade before continuing an international career in Italy in 2015, with a brief stint in Romanian CSM Târgoviște. From 2017 to 2019 she joined Polish club KPS Chemik Police. She joined Alba Blaj in the start of season 2019–2020.
The Russia women's national under-20 volleyball team represents Russia in international women's volleyball competitions and friendly matches under the age 20 and it is ruled by the Russian Volleyball Federation that is a member of the Federation of International Volleyball (FIVB) and also a part of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV).
Yuliya Aleksandrovna Saltsevich is a retired Russian female volleyball player who was a member of the USSR women's volleyball team from 1985 to 1986. She was a member of the Soviet squad that won the gold medal at the 1985 European Championship in Netherlands and the gold medal at the 1986 Goodwill Games in Moscow. She was also part of the Soviet team that took the 6th place in the 1986 World Championship in Prague.
