Yury Selikhov (born 19 May 1986) is a Russian bobsledder. He competed in the two-man event at the 2018 Winter Olympics. [1]

The Moscow Monorail is a 4.7-kilometre-long (2.9 mi) monorail line located in the North-Eastern Administrative Okrug of Moscow, Russia. It runs from the Timiryazevskaya via Fonvisinskaya and VDNHa metro stations to Sergeya Eisensteina street. The monorail line currently has six stations. Planning of the monorail in Moscow started in 1998. This was a unique project for Russian companies, which did not have prior experience in building monorails. 6,335,510,000 rubles were spent by the city of Moscow on the monorail construction.

Yury Petrovich Vlasov was a Russian heavyweight weightlifter, writer and politician. He competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics and won a gold medal in 1960 and a silver in 1964; at both games, he was the Olympic flag bearer for the Soviet Union. During his career, Vlasov won four world titles and set 31 ratified world records. He retired in 1968 and became a prominent writer and later a politician. He was a member of the Congress of People's Deputies of the Soviet Union (1989) and then of the Russian State Duma (1993) and took part in the 1996 Russian presidential election.

K-535 Yuriy Dolgorukiy is a Borei-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine of the Russian Navy, and the lead vessel of the class. Named after the founder of Moscow, Yuri Dolgorukiy, the vessel was laid down on 2 November 1996 and was first planned to enter service in 2001. However, project for the R-39M SLBM that the Borei class was supposed to carry was abandoned after several failed tests, and the submarine was redesigned for the new RSM-56 Bulava SLBM. The RSM-56 Bulava is smaller than the original R-39M, and in the 2007 START treaty data exchange it was reported that all Borei-class submarines would be equipped with 16 missiles instead of 12, as originally intended.

Viktor Mikhailovich Selikhov, known as The Naked Demon, was a Soviet serial killer and rapist who, between 1962 and 1964, attacked numerous young girls and women in the Kirghiz SSR's Chuy Region, raping at least 10 and killing 3 of his victims. Noted for his peculiar appearance while committing the crimes, he would eventually be arrested, convicted and subsequently executed in 1965.
