Zalaegerszegi Torna Egylet or just ZTE is a football club from the city of Zalaegerszeg in Hungary. They are best known for beating Manchester United F.C. 1–0 in the 2002–03 UEFA Champions League qualifying stage. Zalaegerszeg has won one Hungarian League title.

Vringo was a technology company that became involved in the worldwide patent wars. The company won a 2012 intellectual property lawsuit against Google, in which a U.S. District Court ordered Google to pay 1.36 percent of U.S. AdWords sales. Analysts estimated Vringo's judgment against Google to be worth over $1 billion. The Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit overturned the District Court's ruling on appeal in August 2014 in a split 2-1 decision, which Intellectual Asset Magazine called "the most troubling case of 2014." Vringo appealed to the United States Supreme Court. Vringo also pursued worldwide litigation against ZTE Corporation in twelve countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Malaysia, India, Spain, Netherlands, Romania, China, Malaysia, Brazil and the United States. The high profile nature of the intellectual property suits filed by the firm against large corporations known for anti-patent tendencies has led some commentators to refer to the firm as a patent vulture or patent troll.

The ZTE V880 is a smartphone manufactured by ZTE Corporation for the Android platform. Unveiled by Orange UK as San Francisco, it went on sale on 21 September 2010, with a white variant released later. By 2011, more than 8 million Blade handsets have been sold in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Between 1994 till 1997 ZTE also played in Europe, in the Korac Cup.

The Orbit is the first Windows Phone device to include near field communication. In late September 2012 it was announced a CDMA variant of the Orbit would also launch as the ZTE Render in the US on US Cellular.

Nubia Technology

Nubia Technology is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Originally started as a wholly owned subsidiary of ZTE in 2012 and it became an independent company in 2015 and received a significant investment from Suning Holdings Group and Suning Commerce Group in 2016. ZTE reduced its stake in Nubia to 49.9% in 2017 officially meaning Nubia was no longer considered a subsidiary of the company, but an associate company.
