Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry is a Pakistani politician and entrepreneur. [1] He started his political career in 1987 when he was elected as the Vice Chairman for district Bahawalnagar. In 1993 he was elected as member of the provincial assembly from Haroonabad, Bahawalnagar and in 1997 he was elected as the Chairman for district Bahawalnagar. In 2003 he became a member of the Senate. [2] [3] As a senator he also served as the chairman of standing committees for sports, tourism and culture. [4]
Chaudhry is one of the founding members of the Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front and also an active member of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry. [5] He was elected President in 2010. [6] [7] In 2012, Chaudhry started the first private train service in Pakistan, Pak Business Express, running from Lahore to Karachi. [8] [9]
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain (Punjabi: چوہدری شجاعت حسین; Urdu: چودھری شجاعت حسین; is a senior Pakistani politician who previously served as 16th prime minister of Pakistan. Hussain is the party president of the Pakistan Muslim League since 2003 .

Senator Saleem H. Mandviwalla is a Pakistani politician who served as deputy chairman of the Senate of Pakistan from March 2018 to March 2021. He was previously the president of the Board of Investment and Minister of State for Investment of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a position he held from October 2008 till May 2013. Prior to his appointment, he was the president of the Lasbela Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Lasbela, Balochistan. He was appointed Minister of Finance on 19 February 2013 till 7 June 2013. Saleem Mandviwalla was unanimously elected as chairperson for Senate's Standing Committee on Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization. Saleem Mandviwalla elected Vice Chairman of Senate of Pakistan on March 12, 2018, with 54 votes out of total 103 votes cast and defeated Usman Khan Kakar who secured only 44 votes. To be elected for the seat of Vice Chairman Senate, candidate had to secure at least 53 votes from the house of 104. On 1 August 2019, a no-confidence motion was presented by the government in the senate to remove him from the post of the Deputy Chairman of the Senate, but the motion failed. The government couldn't get enough required votes to remove him from the post.

He is a former governor of Punjab (1990-1993) and the founder of PML-Q, of which he was also president until retiring from politics. He is one of the largest steel manufacturers of Pakistan and is the CEO of Afco Steel Industries. He was also the mayor of Lahore between 1987 and 1991.

South Punjab Forest Company (SPFC) is a subsidiary of the Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Department, Government of the Punjab and operates on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. The company is created under the visionary leadership of Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab and spearheaded by Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, Chairman, South Punjab Forest Company (SPFC). One of the main objectives of the organization is to streamline public and private sector investments in the forestry sector, so that deforestation can be reduced in Punjab, and forest conservation and sustainable economic development go hand in hand. SPFC aims to encourage investments in the forestry sector which offers low risk with high return. The land will be awarded to successful bidders for 15 years and further extendable to another 15 years subjected to satisfactory performance of investors. The project will be floated in the market for solicitation of expression of interest from the potential investors in June 2017. The land slots will be awarded to the successful bidders based on evaluation by the end of August, 2017. The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of forest sites, awarded to successful bidders, will be done in collaboration with the Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Department, Government of the Punjab, as per the provisions of PPP Act, 2014, and The Punjab Forest (Amendment) Act, 2016. Revenue sharing will be done in this initiative. The Company in order to effectively reach out to the business community is organizing seminars in collaboration with various Chambers of Commerce & Industry to sensitize business groups to invest in the opportunity.
Provincial elections were held in the Pakistani province of Sindh to elect the members of the 13th Provincial Assembly of Sindh on 25 July 2018, alongside nationwide general elections and three other provincial elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Punjab. The remaining two territories of Pakistan, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, were ineligible to vote due to their disputed status.

He was Federal caretaker Minister for Law and Justice of Pakistan in 2018 and President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan 2015–16. He remained President of the Pakistan chapter of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Law and a senior partner of Mandviwalla & Zafar, legal consultants. He is associated as vice-president of the Human Rights Society of Pakistan. He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the London School of Economics in 1983, and Bar at Law from England and Wales in 1984. He is also a political analyst and regularly writes in The Express Tribune on various political, social and legal issues of Pakistan. He joined the present ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in 2019.
