Zakari Junior Lambo (born 19 January 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Lokeren-Temse. Born in Belgium, he represents the Niger national team.

Career

A youth product of Mouscron and Ronse, Lambo began his career with the semi-pro side Ronse. He transferred to Winkel in 2018, before returning to Ronse the following year. On 5 April 2020, Lambo signed a 2-year contract with Knokke. [2]

In the summer 2022, Lambo joined La Louvière. [3] A year later, he moved to Lokeren-Temse. [4]

International career

Lambo was born in Belgium to a Nigerien father and Burkinabé mother, and holds all three passports. He was called up to represent the Niger national team for a set of friendlies in June 2021. [5] He debuted with Niger in a 2–0 friendly loss to the Gambia on 5 June 2021. [1]

Lambo is the son of the former Nigerien international footballer Zakari Lambo. [6]

The 2019–20 Belgian Second Amateur Division was the fourth season of the division in its current format, placed at the fourth-tier of football in Belgium. Koninklijke Sporting Club Lokeren Temse often simply called Lokeren-Temse or Lokeren) is a Belgian professional football club based in the city of Lokeren, in the province of East Flanders. The club was originally founded in 1945 as "KSV Temse" in the nearby town of Temse but following the bankruptcy of K.S.C. Lokeren Oost-Vlaanderen in 2020 both clubs merged to form K.S.C. Lokeren-Temse. The club entered the Challenger Pro League in 2024–25, the second tier of Belgian football, after promotion from Belgian National Division 1 in 2023–24.
