Zikhona "Zee" Dyasi, is a South African singer and songwriter. She gained national recognition in 2022 as a Top 5 finalist on the television competition series ''Idols South Africa''. [1] [2]
Dyasi was born and raised in the Cape Town, South Africa. She began singing in school later and church choirs pursuing music more formally through performances at local events and collaborations., [2] She was also known as a vocal coach amongst her peers. [3] [4]
In 2022, Dyasi auditioned for the eighteenth season of Idols South Africa. Her performances received praise from the judges and viewers, and she advanced to the Top 5 before being eliminated. [2] [5]
In 2024, Dyasi was discovered by Paris Mark Toon, which led to collaborations on music Written & Composed by the Billboard Charting record producer and his music collective Mothers Favorite Child. [6]
