Zenith Irfan is the first Pakistani female motorcyclist to ride across Pakistan. [1] Her father dreamt of traveling around the world on his motorbike, but when he died young at age 34, Zenith decided to fulfill his dream. [2] "I did this for my father and I still do it for him. For me, going and riding across Pakistan is a spiritual endeavour," Irfan says.

Career

In 2013, Sultan, Zenith's younger brother, bought a motorcycle, and Zenith started taking motorcycle lessons from him, practicing in their hometown. "I would just ride in the city and only knew the basics of riding," she says. [3]

In August 2015, Zenith Irfan rode for 3,200 kilometers from Lahore through North Pakistan up to the Khunjerab Pass which borders China. [4]

She is thought to be the first female motorcyclist to travel across Pakistan. [5] [3] She has taken two trips since then, riding into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan, completing 20,000 kilometers on her motorcycle.

She now keeps a photoblog by the name of “Zenith Irfan”, on Facebook to document her journeys.

Adnan Sarwar has made a biopic about her journey called Motorcycle Girl , which was released on 20 April 2018.[ citation needed ] Sohai Ali Abro portrays Irfan and the cast also includes Samina Peerzada and Ali Kazmi. [6] Irfan commented that it should not be considered as just a film but rather a "dream my father saw and how he hoped to ride across the world on a motorcycle". [7]

Marjorie Cottle was an English works supported motorcycle trials rider. She was one of Britain's best-known motorcyclists in the 1920s and 1930s. She competed regularly in reliability trials and was considered to be one of the best riders in the country – male or female. Her greatest success was the International Six Days Trial of 1927, in which the British Ladies' Team won the International Silver Vase. That year the trial was held in the Lake District, and attracted a large number of competitors. She was described as the "most famous girl rider in the world".

One Off is an animated series directed by Junichi Sato and produced by TYO Animations in collaboration with Honda. The four-episode series was aired on AT-X on August 5 and October 7, 2012. It was released in two volumes on DVD and Blu-ray on November 28 and December 21, 2012. Sohai Ali Abro is a Pakistani actress, dancer and model, who appears in Pakistani television serials and films. She is known for her roles in serials such as Geo TV's Saat Pardon Mein (2012), Hum TV's Tanhai (2013), Khoya Khoya Chand (2013), Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se (2013) and ARY Digital's serial Pyaray Afzal (2014). Abro made her film debut with a supporting role in the 2013 romantic drama Anjuman. Her performance earned her a nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category at Tarang Housefull Awards. Her other films include Wrong No., Jawani Phir Nahi Ani and Motorcycle Girl (2018), for which she received a Lux Style Award for Best Film Actress.

Shah is a 2015 Pakistani biographical sports film directed and written by Adnan Sarwar. The film, produced under the Logos Films & Media banner, is based on the life of boxer Hussain Shah, who won the bronze medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics and became the only boxer in Pakistan's history to secure an Olympic medal. Gloria Tramontin Struck is an American motorcyclist who was one of the early members of the Motor Maids women's motorcycle club, which she joined in 1946, at age 21. She is both a Sturgis Hall of Fame and Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee.

Motorcycle Girl is a 2018 Pakistani biographical adventure drama film based on the life of motorcyclist Zenith Irfan. Directed, written and co-produced by Adnan Sarwar, it is second installment in Sarwar's thematic Hero trilogy, following Shah (2015). The film stars Sohai Ali Abro as Zenith Irfan who travels to northern areas of Pakistan on a motorbike to fulfil her father's wish, facing many challenges along the way, with Samina Peerzada, Ali Kazmi, and Shamim Hilaly also playing supporting roles.

Aik Hai Nigar is a Pakistani television biographical-drama film based on three-star general of Pakistan Army, Nigar Johar and centers on her life and career from 1975 to present time. The telefilm is directed by Adnan Sarwar, written by Umera Ahmad and first aired on ARY Digital on 23 October 2021. The telefilm marked the Mahira Khan's debut as a producer, who also played the title role in the film. It also stars Bilal Ashraf in his television debut as Johar's husband. The telefilm was well-received by the audience and received mixed reviews from critics.

Roag is a 2022 Pakistani television drama serial produced by Moomal Productions and directed by Misbah Khalid. It features Adeel Chaudhary, Areej Mohyudin and Arez Ahmed in lead roles.
