Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti is an engineer turned educationist, poet and academic author from Sindh, Pakistan. [1] He has written more than two hundred books including several textbooks in Sindhi, Urdu, and English Language. [2]

Ali Bhatti received his engineering degree from Sindh Agriculture University and then Masters in English Literature from University of Sindh. His poems and articles appear in different newspapers.

Ali Bhatti has authored more than two hundred books which have also been kept on exhibitions. [3] [4] His major publications include Unshed Tears, [5] Yadgar Dictionary of Computer Terms, [6] Fundamentals of English Grammar, and Khofnak Sazish, a children's novel. [7]

Sindhi literature is the collection of oral and written literature in the Sindhi language in prose and poetry. The Sindhi language of the province of Sindh in Pakistan is considered one of the oldest languages of ancient India, and influenced the language of Indus Valley inhabitants. Sindhi literature has developed over a thousand years.

Nabi Bakhsh Khan Baloch was a Pakistani research scholar, historian, sindhologist, educationist, linguist and writer. He predominantly wrote in Sindhi, but sometimes in Urdu, English, Persian and Arabic. He has been described as the "moving library" of the Pakistani province of Sindh.

Ghulam Murtaza Syed, known as G. M. Later proposing ideological groundwork for separate Sindhi identity and laying the foundations of Sindhudesh movement. He is regarded as one of the founding fathers of modern Sindhi nationalism.

Zulfiqar Shah is a civil rights activist, journalist and writer of Sindhi origin. He was forced by the Pakistan Army to unlawfully leave the country and close down The Institute for Social Movements, Pakistan in May 2012. He resettled in Nepal, where the UNHCR approved him for refugee status. In Kathmandu, he began freelancing with newspapers and websites on the issues of Pakistan, particularly concerning Sindh and the restive province of Balochistan. He was insurrected in his house in Kathmandu and was given heavy metal poison by the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI with local facilitation; however he was rescued by local doctors. He was forced to leave Nepal, thus he left for Pakistan in December 2013. In Pakistan, he again was persecuted and threatened to be killed. He went India for medical treatment on 11 February 2013, where he was not only denied appropriate health treatment at the behest of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, but was also harassed by high commission officials. He, along his wife Fatima Shah, gave a protest sit-in for 285 days near the Parliament of the Republic of India in defiance of the threats against his life committed by the Pakistan High Commission and its facilitation by the Indian authorities.

Ghulam Ali Allana was a writer, critic and linguist. He was Vice-chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad and chairman of the Sindhi Language Authority based in Hyderabad, Sindh.

Zulfiqar Halepoto, an activist and author of Sindh, Pakistan, was born on 27 September 1970 in village Umer Halepoto, Tando Muhammad Khan District, Sindh. He is the author of several books including travelogues and water environment.

Tarique Ashraf was a Pakistani writer and publisher. He was the owner of Suhni printing press and editor-in-chief of Suhni Literary Magazine. His other works include his novel Meero Dharial and Jail Dairy. Ashraf introduced Sindhi short story writer Amar Jaleel by publishing his stories. Ali Gul Sangi was a poet, author, political activist, and journalist of Sindh, Pakistan. His Urdu and Sindhi poetry was sung by a number of singers including Mehnaz, Ustad Muhammad Yousuf, Manzoor Sakhrani and others.

Abu Salmān Shahjahānpūri was a Pakistani scholar, researcher and historian. He was regarded as an authority in the historical and political movements of the Indian subcontinent. He was an alumnus of Jamia Qasmia Madrasa Shahi, University of Karachi and the University of Sindh. He wrote more than 150 books including Ifādat-e-Azād and Maulānā ʻUbaidullāh Sindhī ke inqilābī manṣūbe.

Syed Hayat Ali Shah Bukhari was a Pakistani radio, TV and film artist, dramatist and film director. He wrote more than 200 serials and plays for radio and TV channels. He also served as a journalist and columnist. He was associated with the Sindhi-language DailyIbrat at the time of his death in 2020.
