ZuZu & the SuperNuffs is an animated children's television series that follows the adventures of a group of alien Nuffs, who have been sent to another planet on a mission. It first aired in 2013 on KidsCo. [1]

Development

ZuZu & the SuperNuffs was created by Zara & Troy Swindells-Grose, who developed the series along with producer Julie Eckersley for Matchbox Pictures Australia. KidsCo launched in 2007 and was seen in more than 100 territories worldwide. [2] The show was dubbed in more than 16 languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Malaysian and Indonesian. [3]

<i>Ben 10</i> (2005 TV series) American animated series

Ben 10 is an American animated series created by Man of Action, and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The series is about a 10-year-old boy named Ben Tennyson who gets a watch-style alien device called the "Omnitrix". Attached to his wrist, it allows him to transform into various alien creatures with different abilities, allowing him to fight evil from Earth and space with his cousin Gwen and grandfather Max. The series first aired on Cartoon Network as a sneak peek on December 27, 2005 as part of "Sneak Peek Week", airing alongside other shows, including My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Robotboy, and Zixx. The show later began airing on January 14, 2006 and ended on April 15, 2008.

KidsCo

KidsCo was an international children's entertainment brand founded by Canadian broadcaster Corus Entertainment's Nelvana, American-based producer DIC Entertainment, and European broadcaster Sparrowhawk Media Group in April 2007. By the end of 2007, Sparrowhawk was purchased by media conglomerate NBC Universal, thus giving the company its share in the brand. In June 2008, DiC Entertainment was acquired by Cookie Jar Group, thus also having a stake. In May 2012, Cookie Jar's minority shares in KidsCo were brought by NBCUniversal and Corus, which saw NBCUniversal become majority shareholder with a 51% share while Corus obtained a 43.8% share.
