Erika Alcocer Luna (born on July 19, 1974, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico) she is a Mexican singer. She is the winner of the Second Edition of the reality show La Academia , produced by TV Azteca. She also participated in the Mexican edition of La Voz . After that, she has continued an independent career participating in projects such as Las Reinas, musical theater and recording pop music.
She is known for her powerful voice in the style of power ballad and R&B tunes in Spanish. Her debut album “Devuelveme la Vida” by Warner Music Mexico hit the charts and quickly became gold disc for over 75,000 copies sold.

La Academia is a Mexican reality musical talent television series shown on TV Azteca, that premiered in June 2002 and is currently in its thirteenth installment. Although the show itself is not affiliated with the Endemol franchise, which includes the "Star Academy" shows, it does share the competition format of many of the variants of the global franchise.

Desafío de Estrellas is a Mexican musical show produced and distributed by TV Azteca, the second most important network in the country. The format of the Desafío is similar to American Idol with contestants eliminated every week and a grand finale with the top contestants competing to win the first place prize. TV Azteca has, until 2006, produced two versions of the program, one in 2003 and the other in 2006. The 2003 version consisted only of former contestants of La Academia, another TV Azteca-produced show which had already garnished two seasons and, in the process, taken away rating from Televisa, the prime network of the country. Nuestra Belleza México 2002, the 9th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the World Trade Center of Boca del Río, Veracruz, Mexico on September 6, 2002. Thirty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Marisol González from Coahuila, who later competed in Miss Universe 2003 in Panamá. González was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Ericka Cruz and Christiane Martel Miss Universe 1953. She is the first and only Coahuilense to win this title.
