The Yale Bulldogs men's ice hockey team represents Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut and is the oldest collegiate ice hockey team in the United States. The Bulldogs compete in the Ivy League and the ECAC Hockey League (ECACHL) and play their home games at Ingalls Rink, also called the Yale Whale. The current head coach is Keith Allain, who led the Bulldogs to an Ivy League championship in his first year as head coach. Allain is assisted by former QU/UND goaltender, Josh Siembida. On April 13, 2013, the Bulldogs shut out Quinnipiac 4–0 to win their first NCAA Division I Championship.

O'Donnell Field, located across the Charles River from Harvard's main campus. Bill Decker has been the program's head coach since the 2013 season.

The Penn Quakers football program is the college football team at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Gilmore Kinney was an American college basketball standout at Yale University in the 1900s. That year, he led the Yale Bulldogs to their first-ever Eastern Intercollegiate Basketball League season championship title, and was the league's leading scorer at 10.1 points per game. Kinney also played for Yale's baseball team.

The College World Series, held for the second time in 1948, consisted of the two remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament and was held in Kalamazoo, Michigan at Hyames Field as a best of three series. Southern California claimed the championship two games to one over Yale.

Olumiye Dimolu "Miye" Oni is an American-Nigerian professional basketball player for the Osceola Magic of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Yale Bulldogs. He plays the shooting guard position. Oni was named Ivy League Player of the Year in 2019 and was a three-time All-Ivy League selection.

Eric Brodkowitz is an American-Israeli professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He plays for the Israel National Baseball Team. Pitching for the Yale Bulldogs, he was named to the 2018 First Team All-Ivy League Team as a unanimous selection. In 2021, he has pitched for the Idaho Falls Chukars of the Pioneer League. Brodkowitz is also a investment banking analyst with Goldman Sachs.
