Anežka Drahotová is a Czech athletics competitor in racewalking, middle-distance running, and steeplechase, as well an international level cyclist. She is the Czech record holder for the 20 kilometres walk and the 10 km track walk.

1964 European Junior Games

The 1964 European Junior Games was the first edition of what would become the biennial athletics competition for European athletes aged under twenty. It was an unofficial competition without sanction from the European Athletic Association. The event was held at the 10th-Anniversary Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, between 18 and 20 September. The success of the competition eventually led to the creation of the official European Athletics Junior Championships in 1970.

Lorraine Ugen English long jumper and sprinter

Lorraine Ugen is an English long jumper and occasional 100 m sprinter with respective personal bests of 7.05 m and 11.32 s. Ugen competed for Great Britain in Rio at the 2016 Olympics in the long jump where she secured her spot as an Olympic finalist finishing eleventh (11th) overall.

Ari Paunonen is a Finnish male former middle- and long-distance runner who competed over distances from 800 metres up to 10,000 metres. His best international performances at a major event were bronze at the 1977 European Cup and fifth at the 1983 European Athletics Indoor Championships. He was also the 1500 m silver medallist at the Nordic Indoor Athletics Championships in 1986.
