The 1978 Copa Fraternidad was the 8th edition of the Copa Fraternidad, the football competition for Central American clubs organized by UNCAF. Costa Rican club Deportivo Saprissa obtained its 3rd regional title after winning the final round. [1]

The Apertura 2011 season was the 27th edition of El Salvador's Primera División since its establishment of an Apertura and Clausura format. Alianza entered into this tournament as the defending champions. The season began on 30 July 2011 and concluded at the end of the year. Like previous years, the league consisted of 10 teams, each playing a home and away game against the other clubs for a total of 18 games, respectively. The top four teams by the end of the season took part in the playoffs.

The Clausura 2012 season was the 28th edition of Primera División de Fútbol de El Salvador since its establishment of an Apertura and Clausura format. Isidro Metapán headed into this tournament as the defending champions. The season began on January 8, 2012 and concluded in mid-year. Like previous years, the league consisted of 10 teams, each playing a home and away game against the other clubs for a total of 18 games, respectively. The top four teams by the end of the regular season took part in the playoffs.

Julio César Anderson Quiroga was a Guatemalan professional football striker who played the majority of his career for C.S.D. Municipal, in the Liga Mayor A, the top tier in the country. He was on the squad when it won the 1974 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. When he retired, he was the club's all-time leading goalscorer, and was the top scorer of the Liga Nacional three straight years. He was briefly in Mexico's top league, the Primera División.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2015 Costa Rican Cup</span> Football tournament season

The 2015 Costa Rican Cup is the 3rd staging of the Costa Rican Cup. The competition began on July 4 and finished on November 19 with the final at the Estadio Nacional. The cup featured 20 teams, composed of all 12 teams of the FPD and 8 from the Liga de Ascenso. Originally, teams from the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Aficionado were expected to participate as well, but were withdrawn due to lack of budget.

The 1983 Copa Fraternidad was the 13th edition of the Central American football club championship organized by UNCAF, the regional governing body of Central America.
