Pasir Ris Planning Area and HDB Town in East Region ----, Singapore

Pasir Ris is a planning area and residential town located in the East Region of Singapore. It is bordered by Tampines and Paya Lebar to the south, Sengkang to the southwest and Changi to the east. The planning area also shares riverine boundary with Punggol to the west, separated by the Serangoon River, as well as having a maritime boundary with the North-Eastern Islands planning area, across the Straits of Johor.

Teo Chee Hean Singaporean politician

Teo Chee Hean is a Singaporean politician and former two-star rear-admiral who has been serving as a senior minister in the Cabinet since 2019 and Coordinating Minister for National Security since 2015. A member of the governing People's Action Party, he has been the Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Pasir Ris West ward of Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC since 2001.

Pasir Ris Park Park in Singapore

Pasir Ris Park is a beach park located in the eastern part of Singapore. It covers an area of 70 hectares, and was partially built on reclaimed land. Initially planned in the late 1970s to serve people living in the vicinity, the park was designed with the help of two Japanese landscape specialists. Construction began on the park in September 1984, and the park was opened in phases from August 1986 to 1991. The park was further expanded in 2007, with the addition of new areas such as a herb garden.

Cheong Soo Pieng

Cheong Soo Pieng was a Singaporean artist who was a pioneer of the Nanyang art style, and a driving force to the development of Modernism in visual art in the early 20th-century Singapore. He was also known for his signature depiction of Southeast Asian indigenous tribal people with elongated limbs and torso, almond-shaped faces and eyes in his paintings.

He previously served as Minister of State for Home Affairs, and Sustainability and the Environment between 2020 and 2022. A member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), he has been the Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Pasir Ris Central ward of Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC since 2020.

Ahmad bin Mohamed Magad is a former Singaporean politician.He was Member of Parliament of Pasir Ris Group Representation Constituency (GRC) for Pasir Ris-Loyang from 2 January 1997 to 18 October 2001. He was also an MP of Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC for Pasir Ris East from 25 October 2001 to 19 April 2011. As a member of the ruling People's Action Party, Ahmad was involved in politics for 14 years before retiring in 2011.
