Kiki's Delivery Service is a 1989 Japanese animated fantasy film written, produced and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, based on the 1985 novel by Eiko Kadono. It was animated by Studio Ghibli for Tokuma Shoten, Yamato Transport and the Nippon Television Network, and stars the voices of Minami Takayama, Rei Sakuma and Kappei Yamaguchi. Saiyuki: Requiem or Gensomaden Saiyuki: Requiem - For the One Not Chosen is the first animated film adaptation of the anime and manga series Saiyuki produced by Pierrot. The film directed by Hayato Date and written by Katsuyuki Sumisawa and composed by Motoi Sakuraba. the film was first released in Japanese theaters on August 18, 2001. The movie domestic released in DVD/VHS on August 8, 2002.
