The 1995 FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup was the ninth edition of the event, organised by the world's governing body in aquatics, the International Swimming Federation (FINA). The event took place in Atlanta, United States. [1] Eight teams participated to decide the winner of what would be a bi-annual event until 1999.
The top eight teams from the previous World Aquatic Championship have qualified.

World Aquatics, formerly known as FINA, is the international federation recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for administering international competitions in water sports. It is one of several international federations which administer a given sport or discipline for both the IOC and the international community. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The 2005 Men's World Water Polo Championship was the eleventh edition of the men's water polo tournament at the World Aquatics Championships, organised by the world governing body in aquatics, the FINA. The tournament was held in a temporary pool on Île Sainte-Hélène from 18 to 30 July 2005, and was incorporated into the 2005 World Aquatics Championships in Montréal, Canada.
