<i>Kiras Reason: A Love Story</i> 2001 film by Ole Christian Madsen

Kira's Reason: A Love Story is a 2001 Danish drama directed by Ole Christian Madsen and written by Madsen and Mogens Rukov. The film stars Stine Stengade in a character study of a young mother who, released after two years in a psychiatric ward, struggles to hold her marriage, family and life intact. Filmed using the minimalist techniques of the Dogme 95 movement, Kira's Reason is also known as Dogme No. 21. Kira's Reason won both the Bodil and Robert Awards as the Best Danish Film of 2001. For her leading performance, Stengade received the Bodil and Robert awards for Best Actress.

Ole Christian Madsen's Kira's Reason: A Love Story won the awards for Best Film and Best Actress in a Leading Role. Jens Oking and Susanne Juhasz, both from One-Hand Clapping, won the awards for Best Leading Actor and Best Supporting Actress respectively, and Tommy Kenter in Fukssvansen received the Best Supporting Actor award. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was named Best American Film and Swedish Songs from the Second Floor Best Non-American Film.

Ole & Axel (American) or Long & Short (British) were a pair of comics from Denmark, known in Danish as Fyrtårnet og Bivognen, often called Fy og Bi for short. The pair were played by Carl Schenstrøm (1881–1942) and Harald Madsen (1890–1949).
