The 2002 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona during the 2002 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats played their home games at Frank Sancet Stadium. The team was coached by Andy Lopez in his 1st season at Arizona. Former head coach Jerry Stitt - who had been spent the previous 23 seasons on the coaching staff (the last 5 as head coach) - resigned prior to the season. The Wildcats finished with a record of 31-24 and placed 8th in the Pacific-10 Conference with 9-15 record.

The Wildcats finished the 2001 season with an overall record of 33-23. They finished 5th in conference play with a record of 12-12. Arizona missed the postseason for a 2nd straight year and 4th time in Jerry Stitt's 5 seasons as head coach.

The 1976 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona in the 1976 NCAA Division I baseball season. The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 4th season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished with a record of 56-17 overall and placed 2nd in the Western Athletic Conference's Southern Division with a 12-4 in conference play, finishing 2nd in the WAC Southern. Arizona advanced to the postseason for the 3rd straight season and was placed in the Midwest Regional hosted by the University of Texas-Pan American at Jody Ramsey Memorial Stadium in Edinburg, Texas. The Wildcats defeated Texas-Pan American, Missouri and Texas A&M to advance to the College World Series for the 1st time since 1970. The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 21st season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 35-26 overall and placed 3rd in the Pacific-10's Southern Division with a 16–14 record. Arizona reached the postseason for the 2nd straight season and the final time in Jerry Kindall's tenure and were placed as the 3-seed in the Midwest Regional, which was hosted by Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. After falling into the loser's bracket with a loss to Auburn in their 1st game, the Wildcats rallied to win their next 3 against North Carolina State, Fordham and Oklahoma State. The team was ultimately eliminated 1 win short of a College World Series appearance with a 10–11 loss in the regional final to host Oklahoma State.

The 1992 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona during the 1992 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats played their home games at Frank Sancet Stadium. The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 20th season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 34-23 overall and placed 1st in the Pacific-10's Southern Division with an 18–12 record. This was Arizona's final conference championship under Coach Kindall and would be their last for 20 years until clinching a share of the then-Pac-12 Conference championship in 2012. The Wildcats made the postseason for the 1st time since 1989 and were selected to host the West Regional at Sancet Stadium. This would be the final time Sancet Stadium would host postseason play and, coincidentally, was the last time the program would host a regional until the same 2012 season when the program would win its 4th College World Series title. The Wildcats lost back to back games to Washington and Hawaii to end their season.

The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 15th season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 34-26 overall and placed 4th in the Pacific-10's Southern Division with an 13–17 record. Arizona made a 3rd straight postseason appearance and was placed in the West II Regional hosted by rival Arizona State University at Packard Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. The Wildcats failed to make a 3rd straight College World Series appearance, losing their first 2 games to Pepperdine and Hawaii to end their season.

The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 9th season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 30-22 overall and placed 4th in the Pacific-10's Southern Division with an 14–16 record. Arizona failed to make the postseason for the 1st time since 1977.

The 1978 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona during the 1978 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats played their home games at Wildcat Field. The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 6th season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 42-13 overall and placed 2nd in the Western Athletic Conference's Southern Division with a 13–5 record. After a single year gap, Arizona was selected to the postseason and was placed in the West Regional hosted by the University of Southern California at Dedeaux Field in Los Angeles, California. The Wildcats lost their 1st game to USC before bouncing back to win their next 2 against Santa Clara and Cal State Fullerton. The team however lost their next game - a rematch with USC - to end their season. This would be Arizona's final season as members of the Western Athletic Conference, which they had been affiliated with for the previous 16 seasons. Beginning in 1979, the Wildcats would compete as members of the Pacific-10 Conference for the next 45 seasons, which they would remain in until leaving for the Big 12 Conference in 2024.
