2012 European Karate Championships Karate competition

The 2012 European Karate Championships, the 47th edition, were held in Adeje, Tenerife, Spain from 10 to 13 May 2012. A total of 450 competitors from 45 countries participated at the event.

2011 European Karate Championships Karate competition

The 2011 European Karate Championships, the 46th edition, were held in Zürich, Switzerland from 6 to 8 May 2011. A total of 470 competitors form 44 countries participated at the event.

The 2010 European Karate Championships, the 45th edition, were held in Athens, Greece from 7 to 9 May 2010. A total of 475 competitors participated at the event.

The 2013 European Karate Championships, the 48th edition, were held in Budapest, Hungary from 9 to 12 May 2013. A total of 497 competitors from 45 countries participated at the event.

Kunio Kobayashi is a Japanese instructor of Shotokan karate. He has won the JKA All-Japan championships for kata on 2 occasions and for kumite on 3 occasions. He is currently an instructor of the Japan Karate Association.
