The 2010 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League. The Roughriders attempted to win their fourth Grey Cup championship, but they lost to the Montreal Alouettes. The Roughriders celebrated their 100th Anniversary this year, which included wearing retro black, silver and red uniforms, having a documentary made of the franchise and having the Canadian Mint release a specialized Roughrider loonie. After spending three seasons with the Roughriders, he signed with the Eskimos and spent two seasons with that team. He sat out the 2011 season before re-signing with Saskatchewan. He played college football at UConn.

Chris Getzlaf is a Canadian former professional football slotback who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 2007 to 2017. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2007 CFL Draft, 33rd overall, by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and was later traded that season to the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He has also been a member of the Edmonton Eskimos. Prior to turning pro, Getzlaf played with the junior team Prairie Thunder and the collegiate team Regina Rams in his hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan.

Drew Willy is an American former professional Canadian football quarterback. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Buffalo. Willy has also been a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Locomotives, New York Jets, San Diego Chargers, and most notably the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Toronto Argonauts, and Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

The 2010 CFL season is the 57th season of modern-day Canadian football. Officially, it is the 53rd Canadian Football League season. Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton hosted the 98th Grey Cup on November 28 when the Montreal Alouettes became the first team to repeat as Grey Cup Champions in 13 years, defeating the Saskatchewan Roughriders, 21–18. The league announced on its Twitter page on January 29, 2010 that the season would start on July 1, 2010. As of 2021 this is the most recent CFL regular season to start in July.

The 2011 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 54th season for the team in the Canadian Football League. The Roughriders finished fourth place in the West Division with a 5–13 record and were eliminated from the playoffs after a loss to the BC Lions on October 16, 2011. This marks the first time since 2001 that the Roughriders have missed the playoffs.

Bakari Grant is a former Canadian football wide receiver. He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Grant played college football at UC Davis. He has also been a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Saskatchewan Roughriders.

For the second consecutive season, the club held training camp at Griffiths Stadium in Saskatoon with the main camp beginning on June 1.

The 2017 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 60th season for the team in the Canadian Football League. It was the club's 108th year overall, and its 102nd season of play. The Roughriders improved upon their 5–13 record from 2016 and clinched a playoff spot with a win over the Calgary Stampeders on October 20, 2017. They finished in fourth place in the West Division and crossed over to the East Division playoffs for the third time in franchise history. They won their first ever East Semi-Final game by defeating the Ottawa Redblacks, but lost the following week to the Toronto Argonauts 25–21 in the last minute of the game.

The team hosted the first ever playoff game at the new Mosaic Stadium, but lost to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the West Semi-Final. This was the third season under head coach and general manager Chris Jones.

The 2019 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 62nd season for the team in the Canadian Football League. It was the club's 110th year overall and its 104th season of play. The Roughriders qualified for the playoffs for the third consecutive year and hosted a playoff game for the second consecutive year. They finished 13–5 in the regular season and finished first place in the West Division for only the second time since 1976 and the first time winning the West Division crown since 2009. The 2019 West Final was the first time that the game was held at the new Mosaic Stadium and the second time a playoff game was held at the venue, the first coming during the previous season in 2018.

The 2021 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 63rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League. It was the club's 112th year overall, and its 105th season of play. Although the club failed to record a second consecutive first place finish in the West Division, the Roughriders qualified for the post-season for the fourth consecutive season of play on October 30, 2021 following a win over the Montreal Alouettes. After defeating the Calgary Stampeders in the West Semi-Final, the Roughriders then lost the West Final to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for the second consecutive season. This was the second season under head coach Craig Dickenson and general manager Jeremy O'Day.
