Nepal conducted a widespread national census in 2011 by the Nepal Central Bureau of Statistics. [2] Working with the 58 municipalities and the 3,915 Village Development Committees at a district level, they recorded data from all the municipalities and villages of each district. The data included statistics on population size, households, sex and age distribution, place of birth, residence characteristics, literacy, marital status, religion, language spoken, caste/ethnic group, economically active population, education, number of children, employment status, and occupation.

Ramechhap District, a part of Bagmati Province, is a district of Nepal. The district, also known as Wallo Kirat Ramechhap, has its district headquarters in Manthali and covers an area of 1,546 km2 (597 sq mi). Ramechhap Municipality is a municipality in Ramechhap District in Bagmati Province of Nepal. It was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former village development committees Old-Ramechhap, Okhreni and Sukajor. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 28,612 people living in 6,126 individual households.

The 1991 Nepal census was a widespread national census conducted by the Nepal Central Bureau of Statistics.

Chaukati is a village in Sindhupalchok District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2346 and had 539 houses in the village. By 2011 the population had become 2497 in 627 households.

Maneshwara is a village in Sindhupalchok District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 3,065, and had 642 houses in the village. By 2011 the population had become 3,393 in 789 households.

Pagretar is a village development committee in Sindhupalchowk District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. Kothe is a populated location within the committee area. In 1991, there were 633 houses, and at the time of the 2001 Nepal census Pagretar had a population of 3,352. By 2011, the population had become 2,952 in 762 households.

Pedku is a village in Sindhupalchok District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 2013 Nepal census it had a population of 2284 and had 408 houses in the village. In 2011 the population was 1600 in 391 households.

Tauthali is a village in Sindhupalchok District in Bagmati Province, central Nepal. Tauthali is 110 km away from Kathmandu.

Gajuri(Nepali: गजुरी ; gajuri) is a Gaupalika in Dhading District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. It has a literacy rate of 64.28%. The city hosts as one of the city with highest literacy rate in the Dhading district. The local body was formed by merging three VDCs namely Gajuri, Pida, Nepal, Kiranchok.

Goldhunga is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tarakeshwar Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. According to National Population and Housing Census 2011, there are 3,806 households in the VDC and the total population is 16,174.

Talku Dudechaur is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Dakshinkali Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 2,858 and had 648 households in it.

Thankot is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Chandragiri Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. It lies in the lap of Chandragiri Hill. According to the 2011 Nepal census it has a population of 12,047 and has 2,820 households.

Lahachowk is a village in Machhapuchchhre Gaunpalika, in the Kaski District, in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. According to the 2011 National Population and Housing Census, it had a population of 3,129 in 829 individual households.

Birendranagar is a village development committee (VDC) in Chitwan District in the Narayani Zone of southern Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 14,934 people living in 3,374 individual households.

Pathari Shanishchare (पथरी-शनिश्चरे) is a Municipality in Morang District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. It was formed by merging three existing village development committees i.e. Hasandaha, Pathari and Sanischare in May 2014.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Laligurans Municipality</span> Municipality in Koshi Province, Nepal

Laligurans is a municipality located in Terhathum District in the Koshi Province of eastern Nepal. After the government announcement, the municipality was established on 19 September 2015 by merging the existing Basantapur, Phulek, Dangpa, Sungnam and Solma village development committees (VDCs). The center of the municipality is established in Basantpur. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census after merging the five VDCs population it had a total population of 16,934 persons. After the government decision the number of municipalities has reached 217 in Nepal.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Bhanu Municipality</span> Municipality in Gandaki Province, Nepal

Bhanu is a municipality of Tanahun District in Gandaki Province of western Nepal. The municipality was established on 19 September 2015 by merging the existing Bhanu village development committee or VDC, Barbhanjyang VDCs, Rupakot (VDC), Tanahunsur Village Development Committee, Purkot VDC, Mirlung VDC, Satiswara VDC, Risti VDC, Basantapur VDC and Chok Chisapani VDC. The center of the municipality is established in former VDC Office of Bhanu. After merging the population of all of the VDCs, it had a total population of 46,179 according to 2011 Nepal census. After the government decision the number of municipalities has reached 217 in Nepal. Nepali poet Bhanubhakta Acharya was born in Bhanu Municipality. It was named after him.

Palungtar is a municipality in Gorkha District in Gandaki Province, central Nepal. It is made up of the seven former Village Development Committees Aanppipal, Chyangli, Dhuwakot, Gaikhur, Khoplang, Mirkot and Palumtar. It lies on the bank of Marshyangdi River. The Government of Nepal plans to make Palungtar the country's first Smart City. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 38,174 people living in 9,924 individual households.
