Order of Merit

The Order of Merit was based on prize money won during the season, calculated in Canadian dollars. [2] The top five players on the Order of Merit earned status to play on the 2020–21 Korn Ferry Tour. [3]

The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S.-based PGA Tour, and features professional golfers who have either not yet reached the PGA Tour, or who have done so but then failed to win enough FedEx Cup points to stay at that level. Those who are on the top 30 of the money list at year's end are given PGA Tour memberships for the next season. Since the 2013 season, the Korn Ferry Tour has been the primary pathway for those seeking to earn their PGA Tour card. Q-School, which had previously been the primary route for qualification to the PGA Tour, has been converted as an entryway to the Korn Ferry Tour.

Taylor Pendrith is a Canadian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He won twice on PGA Tour Canada in 2019.

The Forme Tour was a men's professional golf tour played in the United States. The tour was created by the PGA Tour in 2021 in response to COVID-19 pandemic related restrictions on travel between the United States and Canada, in order to provide competition for non-Canadian PGA Tour Canada members, with entry also available through a series seven of Q-School events. Eight tournaments were initially announced, to be held between June and September. The tournaments offered Official World Golf Ranking points, and the top five players on the points list at the end of the season gained Korn Ferry Tour membership for the 2022 season.
