The Big 12 Conference is a college athletic conference headquartered in Irving, Texas. It consists of 14 full-member universities in the states of Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia.
The NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, sometimes referred to as Women's March Madness, is a single-elimination tournament played each spring in the United States, currently featuring 68 women's college basketball teams from the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), to determine the national championship.

Games are presented each Saturday evening starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time/6:30 p.m. Central Time during the college football regular season, which has been the case since 2017. The ESPN on ABC Saturday Night Football coverage began in 2006, as both ESPN and ABC are owned by The Walt Disney Company. It is ESPN's biggest game of the week, and in most cases, the city and/or campus of that night's game is where that day's ESPN College GameDay had originated.
The Baylor Bears football team represents Baylor University in Division I FBS college football. They are a member of the Big 12 Conference. After 64 seasons at the off-campus Baylor Stadium, renamed Floyd Casey Stadium in 1989, the Bears opened the new on-campus McLane Stadium for the 2014 season.
The 2007 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship was the 2007 edition of the Big 12 Conference's championship tournament held at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City from March 8 until March 11, 2007. The tournament ended in an 88–84 overtime victory by the #1 seed Kansas Jayhawks over the #3 seed Texas Longhorns, and was the first Big 12 tournament ever to end in an overtime game.
The 2008 Phillips 66 Big 12 men's basketball tournament was the 2008 edition of the Big 12 Conference's championship tournament held at the Sprint Center in Kansas City from March 13 until March 16, 2008. It was the 12th Big 12 tournament in the series. Texas and Kansas shared the regular season title, with Texas receiving the top seed in the tournament due to its win over Kansas earlier in the season. The top four seeds, including the two regular season champs, Oklahoma, and Kansas State automatically advanced to the quarterfinal round.
The 2009 Baylor Bears football team represented Baylor University in the 2009 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Art Briles. The Bears played their home games at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco, Texas. Baylor finished the season with a record of 4–8 and 1–7 in Big 12 play.
The 2013 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament was played from March 23 through April 9, 2013. Tennessee continued its streak of making every NCAA women's basketball tournament at 32 consecutive appearances. Kansas made the regional semifinals for the second year in a row as a double-digit seed, UConn made it into the Final Four for the sixth consecutive year, the longest such streak, and Louisville became the first team seeded lower than fourth in a region to advance to the championship game. For the first time in tournament history, the same four teams were #1 seeds as in the previous year.
The 2014 Texas Longhorns softball team represented the University of Texas at Austin in the 2014 NCAA Division I softball season. Connie Clark entered the year as head coach of the Longhorns for an 18th consecutive season. The Longhorns were picked to finish third in the pre-season conference polls. After posting a 12–6 record in conference play, the Longhorns finished exactly where they were picked to finish and qualified for the NCAA softball tournament as an at large bid. The Longhorns would go 2–2 in the Lafayette Region and bow out with a final record of 35–23.
The 2004 Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship Game was played on December 4, 2004 in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The game determined the 2004 football champions of the Big 12 Conference. The #2 Oklahoma Sooners defeated the Colorado Buffaloes 42-3.
The 2018 Big 12 Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Big 12 Conference held from October 28– November 4, 2018. The seven-match tournament took place at the Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Missouri. The eight-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Baylor Bears were the defending champions and earned the top seed in 2018, facing eight seeded Iowa State in the first round. However, Baylor was not able to defend its crown, losing to West Virginia in the final.
The 2019 Big 12 Conference softball tournament was held in ASA Hall of Fame Stadium located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from May 10 through May 11, 2019. All games of the tournament were aired on Fox College Sports, and the championship game was aired on FS2. Due to Weather conditions, the last 4 games of the Big 12 Tournament were canceled. Therefore the Automatic bid was given to the regular season champion which would be Oklahoma.
The 2020 Big 12 Championship Game was a college football game played on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. This was the 19th Big 12 Championship Game and determined the 2020 champion of the Big 12 Conference. The game featured the top-seeded, Iowa State Cyclones and the second-seeded, Oklahoma Sooners. Sponsored by soft drink brand Dr Pepper, the game is officially known as the Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship Game.

It was the 20th edition of the Big 12 Championship Game, and determined the champion of the Big 12 Conference for the 2021 season. The game began at 11:00 a.m. CST and aired on ABC. The game featured the conference's regular season champions, the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and the runners-up, the Baylor Bears. Sponsored by soft drink company Keurig Dr Pepper through its flagship Dr Pepper brand, the game was officially known as the Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship Game.
The 2021 Oklahoma Sooners softball team was an American college softball team that represented the University of Oklahoma during the 2021 NCAA Division I softball season. The Sooners were led by Patty Gasso in her twenty-seventh season, and played their home games at OU Softball Complex. They competed in the Big 12 Conference, where they finished the season with a 56–4 record, including 16–1 in conference play.
The 2021 Big 12 Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Big 12 Conference held from October 31 to November 7, 2021. The 7-match tournament was held at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, Texas. The 8-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Kansas Jayhawks were the defending champions from 2019. There was no tournament held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kansas was unable to defend its title as the team did not qualify for the tournament. TCU won the title by defeating Texas 2–1 in the final. This was the first title in school history for TCU and head coach Eric Bell. As tournament champions, TCU earned the Big 12's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.
The 2022 Baylor Bears football team represented Baylor University in the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Bears played their home games at McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas, and competed in the Big 12 Conference. They were led by third-year head coach Dave Aranda.
The 2023 Texas Longhorns baseball team represents the University of Texas at Austin during the 2023 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Longhorns play their home games at UFCU Disch–Falk Field as a member of the Big 12 Conference. They are led by head coach David Pierce, in his 7th season at Texas.
