The 2021 Ligue de Football de Saint Pierre et Miquelon is the 36th season of top-division football in Saint Pierre and Miquelon. Three clubs competed in the league: AS Saint Pierraise, A.S. Miquelonnaise and A.S. Ilienne Amateur. The 4-month season kicked off on 26 May with a match between ASSP and Asia. [4] ASSP won 3–0. [5] In the second match of the season ASM defeated ASSP 3–1. [6] The final match of the season is scheduled for 18 September 2021. [1] Miquelonnaise clinched the championship after a 5–0 victory over Saint Pierraise in Match 20. [7]

The Saint Pierre and Miquelon national football team is the official football team for Saint Pierre and Miquelon. As an overseas collectivity of France, it is affiliated to the FFF. Saint Pierre and Miquelon's first official match was an 11–0 defeat to Réunion in the 2010 Coupe de l'Outre-Mer, a competition for teams representing the Overseas departments and territories of France.

In Saint-Pierre and Miquelon there are three amateur clubs, playing only one level. The league is played from the beginning of June and the end of September each year due to climatic conditions. The current president is Hervé Huet.

Association Sportive Saint-Pierraise or ASSP, is a Saint Pierre and Miquelon football club. Founded in 1903, the club is the oldest football team on the island. The club plays their home fixtures at Stade Léonce Claireaux. Its official colours are green and white.

Miquelonnaise and A.S. Ilienne Amateur. The three teams played each other eight times, composing of a 16-match season starting in May 2017 and ending in September 2017.

The 2020–21 Coupe de France preliminary rounds made up the qualifying competition to decide which teams took part in the main competition from round 7. This was the 104th season of the main football cup competition of France. The competition was organised by the French Football Federation (FFF) and was normally open to all clubs in French football, as well as clubs from the overseas departments and territories. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, clubs from Saint Pierre and Miquelon did not join the main competition, and clubs from New Caledonia and Tahiti did not participate. Changes to the competition structure due to the COVID-19 pandemic meant a total of 136 teams qualified for round 7 from this process this season, rather than the usual 156.

Coupe de l'Archipel is the annual men's domestic association football cup competition of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. A tournament for futsal is also held annually.

Due to the travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the club from Saint Pierre and Miquelon did not progress beyond the second round and qualifying clubs from New Caledonia and Tahiti did not participate.

The season began on 27 June 2020 instead of its normal May beginning and concluded on 19 September 2020.

Bruno Ferry is a French football manager who has been the head coach of A.S. Miquelonnaise of the Ligue SPM since 2020. He is a former professional goalkeeper.

Simon Hebditch is a former professional ice hockey player and current international footballer who currently plays for Saint Pierraise of the Ligue SPM. He is a former player of the Saint Pierre and Miquelon national team.

The 2021–22 Coupe de France preliminary rounds, overseas departments and territories made up the qualifying competition to decide which teams from the French Overseas Departments and Territories took part in the main competition from the seventh round.
