The Cricket World Cup is the international championship of One Day International (ODI) cricket. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), every four years, with preliminary qualification rounds leading up to a finals tournament. The tournament is one of the world's most viewed sporting events and considered as the "flagship event of the international cricket calendar" by the ICC. It is widely considered the pinnacle championship of the sport of cricket.
Test cricket is a form of first-class cricket played at international level between teams representing full member countries of the International Cricket Council (ICC). A match consists of four innings and is scheduled to last for up to five days. In the past, some Test matches had no time limit and were called Timeless Tests. The decathlon is a combined event in athletics consisting of ten track and field events. The word "decathlon" was formed, in analogy to the word "pentathlon", from Greek δέκα and ἄθλος. Since his switch to the PDC, Chisnall has been a staple in the top 20 of the rankings, appearing in the Premier League five times, and representing England at the PDC World Cup on three occasions.
Brendan Gabriel Dolan is a professional darts player from County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He was the first player to hit a nine-dart finish in a "double-to-start" event, which he did at the 2011 World Grand Prix. He also reached the final of this tournament, where he lost to Phil Taylor. The South American Indoor Championships in Athletics is a biennial indoor track and field competition for athletes from South America, organised by CONSUDATLE. The first edition was staged in 2020, making it the third continent to organise such an event. It is the indoor counterpart to the biennial South American Championships in Athletics.
The 2022 Day 1 was the inaugural Day 1 professional wrestling event produced by WWE, which was broadcast as a pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event. It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event took place on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and was the company's only PPV and livestreaming event to take place on New Year's Day. The 2023 PDC World Darts Championship was a professional darts event that took place at Alexandra Palace in London, England, from 15 December 2022 to 3 January 2023. It was the 30th World Darts Championship to be organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the now-defunct British Darts Organisation.
