The 2022 Firenze Open (also known as the 2022 UniCredit Firenze Open for sponsorship) is a professional men's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 1st edition of the ATP Florence event since 1994, and part of the ATP Tour 250 series of the 2022 ATP Tour. It was played at Palazzo Wanny in Florence, Italy, from 10 to 16 October 2022. Contents

The event was one of the six tournaments that were given single-year ATP 250 licenses in September and October 2022 due to the cancellation of tournaments in China because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. [3]

Novak Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, 6–0, 7–6(7–5) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2022 Italian Open. Djokovic did not lose a set during the tournament, and won his 1000th ATP Tour-level career match against Casper Ruud in the semifinals.

Daniil Medvedev defeated Holger Rune in the final, 7–5, 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Italian Open. It was his fifth title of 2023, sixth career Masters 1000 title, and first ATP Tour title on clay. Before 2023, Medvedev had never won a match at the Italian Open in three previous appearances.

The 2023 Swiss Open Gstaad was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 55th edition of the Swiss Open, and part of the ATP Tour 250 Series of the 2023 ATP Tour. It took place at the Roy Emerson Arena in Gstaad, Switzerland, from 17 through 23 July 2023.
