The 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards, honouring achievements in Canadian country music, were presented on September 16, 2023, at the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. [1] For the first time in 25 years they were broadcast by CTV instead of Global, under a new content partnership with Bell Media which included a listener contest on the Pure Country radio network to win tickets to attend the event. [2]

The ceremony was hosted by country duo The Reklaws. Performers included Sam Hunt, Jade Eagleson, James Barker Band, Dean Brody, Carly Pearce, Josh Ross, Dallas Smith, Train and Tenille Townes. [3]

Nominees were announced on July 13. [4] Jade Eagleson and Tenille Townes tied for the most awards, with each artist winning three. [5]

The Reklaws are a Canadian country music duo from North Dumfries, Ontario, formed in 2012. The duo consists of siblings Stuart and Jenna Walker. They have released three albums, Freshman Year, Sophomore Slump, and Good Ol' Days. The duo has achieved four number one hits with "Feels Like That", "Can't Help Myself", "11 Beers", and "Honky Tonkin' About" on the Canada Country chart, in addition to multiple gold and platinum certified singles.

Jade Eagleson is a Canadian country singer and songwriter from Bailieboro, Ontario. He has released three albums: Jade Eagleson (2020), Honkytonk Revival (2021), and Do It Anyway (2023). Honkytonk Revival is the second studio album by Canadian country artist Jade Eagleson. It was released on November 12, 2021 via Starseed Records. The album features three singles: "All Night to Figure It Out", "More Drinkin' Than Fishin', and "She Don't Know". Each single reached number one on the Canada Country chart, making Eagleson the second Canadian country artist to land three consecutive number ones from their second studio album, following Shania Twain who accomplished this feat with The Woman in Me in 1995. The album was named "Top Selling Canadian Album" at the 2022 Canadian Country Music Awards.

Right Round Here is the eighth studio album by Canadian country music artist Dean Brody. The album was produced by Todd Clark and Gavin Slate, and was released via Starseed Records on September 15, 2023. It includes the singles "Where'd You Learn How to Do That", "You Got the Wrong Guy", "Broke", and the title track "Right Round Here". Brody embarked on the acoustic "Right Round Here Tour" in support of the album in the fall of 2023.

"Right Round Here" is a song recorded by Canadian country music artist Dean Brody. The track was written by Stuart Walker and Jenna Walker of the Reklaws with Callum Maudsley, while Gavin Slate produced it. It is the fourth single and title track off Brody's eighth studio album Right Round Here.
