The 2017 European Athletics Indoor Championships were held between 3 and 5 March 2017 at the Kombank Arena in Belgrade, Serbia. The three-day competition featured 13 men's and 13 women's athletics events and took place over two morning and three afternoon sessions.

The 2018 World Para Athletics European Championships was a track and field competition for athletes with a disability open to International Paralympic Committee (IPC) affiliated countries within Europe, plus Azerbaijan and Israel. It was held in Berlin, Germany and took place between 20 and 26 August 2018 at the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark. 596 athletes from 35 countries competed during the championships.

The 2021 IBSF World Championships was held in Altenberg, Germany from 5 to 14 February 2021. They were originally awarded to Lake Placid but were moved because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2021 World Short Track Speed Skating Championships were held from 5 to 7 March 2021 in Dordrecht, Netherlands.

The 2023 World Judo Championships were held at the Ali Bin Hamad al-Attiyah Arena in Doha, Qatar, from 7 to 14 May 2023 as part of the IJF World Tour and during the 2024 Summer Olympics qualification period, concluding with a mixed team event on the final day.

The 2023 European Cadets Wrestling Championships (U-17) is the 25th edition of European Cadets Wrestling Championship of combined events, and takes place from June 12 to 18 in Tirana, Albania. In accordance with sanctions imposed following by the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, wretslers from Russia and Belarus were not permitted to use the name, flag, or anthem of Russia or Belarus. They instead participated as "Individual Neutral Athletes" (AIN). Nevertheless, in protest against participation of Individual Neutral Athletes, the Ukrainian team withdrew from the championships.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">European Para Championships</span> Multi-sport event

The European Para Championships is a multi-sport event contested by para-athletes from European nations. The championships have been awarded the status of regional games by the European Paralympic Committee and offer qualification opportunities for the Paralympic Games. The Championships are partly analogous with the European Games, taking place a year before the Paralympic Games and endorsed by the EPC, and with the European Championships in that they represent a combination of selected European championships in different sports.

Taekwondo at the 2023 European Para Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands was held between 14 and 16 August. There were five men's events and five women's events in the K44 class, and two men's events in the K41 class.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2024 European Wrestling Championships</span> Wrestling competition held in Romania

The 2024 European Wrestling Championships was held from 12 to 18 February 2024 in Bucharest, Romania. At the 2024 European Championships, in accordance with sanctions imposed following by the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, wrestlers from Russia and Belarus were not permitted to use the name, flag, or anthem of Russia or Belarus. They instead participated as "Individual Neutral Athletes (AIN)", their medals were not included in the official medal table.
