The 45th Men's 2024 European Amateur Boxing Championships and 14th European Women's Boxing Championships were held at the same time in Belgrade, Serbia, from 18 to 28 April 2024. [1] 401 boxers (263 men and 138 women) from 33 countries were scheduled to come to Belgrade for this championships. [2]

The championships are organised by the continent's governing body, the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC). The first edition of the men's tournament took place in 2003 in Strasbourg, France and the women's in 2006 in Porto Torres, Italy. The men's tournament was held annually from 2003 to 2009 and every four years since 2014, while the women's tournament was held annually from 2006 to 2011 and every four years since 2013.

Vahid Abasov is a Russian-born Serbian boxer. He participated at the 2022 European Amateur Boxing Championships, being awarded the gold medal in the welterweight event. Abasov and Artem Ageev were the only people to win medals which were gold medals for their country. He was the second person of his country to win the medal.
