The T20 Blast, currently named the Vitality Blast for sponsorship reasons, is a professional Twenty20 cricket competition for English and Welsh first-class counties. The competition was established by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003. It is the top-level Twenty20 competition in England and Wales.

There was no overall winner, with Hertfordshire, Nottinghamshire, Lancashire, Kent, Gloucestershire and Somerset winning their respective regions.
The North Representative XI were a women's cricket team made up of players from across Northern England. They were formed in 2021 to take part in the Women's Twenty20 Cup, becoming the sixth team in the North Group to give the group an even number of teams: they finished 3rd, with 3 wins. They continued to compete in the 2022 Women's Twenty20 Cup, finishing sixth in their group of seven, but were removed from the competition ahead of the 2023 Women's Twenty20 Cup. Their squad included players from Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria, North East Warriors and Yorkshire, and they therefore had links with the regional sides North West Thunder and Northern Diamonds.

The 2024 T20 Blast will be the 2024 season of the T20 Blast, a professional Twenty20 cricket league played in England and Wales. The tournament is scheduled to be held from 30 May to 14 September 2024. It will be the seventh season in which the domestic T20 competition, run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), will be branded as the Vitality Blast due to the tournament's sponsorship. Somerset are the defending champions, having won their second title during the previous season. On 23 November 2023, the ECB announced the fixtures for the tournament.
The 2024 ECB Women's County One-Day is an ongoing English women's cricket 50-over domestic competition. It is taking place between April and July 2024, with 35 teams taking part, organised into four regional groups. It is the first nationally-organised 50-over women's county competition since the 2019 Women's County Championship, and runs alongside the Women's Twenty20 Cup.
