Dalton is a city and the county seat of Whitfield County, Georgia, United States. It is also the principal city of the Dalton Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Murray and Whitfield counties.

It carries a broad selection of merchandise, sometimes in a small space, where people from the town and surrounding rural areas come to purchase all their general goods. The store carries routine stock and obtains special orders from warehouses. It differs from a convenience store or corner shop in that it will be the main shop for the community rather than a convenient supplement.
The Burns Club of Atlanta, officially organized in 1896, is a private social club and literary and cultural society commemorating the works and spirit of the 18th century national poet of Scotland, Robert Burns. In addition to holding monthly meetings, the club has held a Burns supper celebration on the anniversary of Burns' birthday every year since 1898. Club events are held in the Atlanta Burns Cottage, a 1911 replica of poet Robert Burns' birthplace in Alloway, Ayrshire, Scotland. The Cottage has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Burns Cottage since 1983.
The Garrott House is a historic house in Batesville, Arkansas, located at the corner of Sixth and Main Streets. Built in 1842, it is the oldest standing house in the Batesville area.

The Old Faithful Historic District in Yellowstone National Park comprises the built-up portion of the Upper Geyser Basin surrounding the Old Faithful Inn and Old Faithful Geyser. It includes the Old Faithful Inn, designed by Robert Reamer and is itself a National Historic Landmark, the upper and lower Hamilton's Stores, the Old Faithful Lodge, designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood, the Old Faithful Snow Lodge, and a variety of supporting buildings. The Old Faithful Historic District itself lies on the 140-mile Grand Loop Road Historic District.

The Roseberry Homestead, also known as the Walter Gess House, is a classic Georgian house, erected of rough-cut quarry stone between 1765 and 1783 located at 540 Warren Street in the town of Phillipsburg in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 3, 1973, for its significance in architecture and exploration/settlement.
The Stephen Miller House, also known as the Van Wyck-Miller House, is located along the NY 23 state highway in Claverack, New York, United States. It is a wooden farmhouse dating from the late 18th century.
The Rufus M. Rose House is a late Victorian, Queen Anne style house located in the SoNo district of Atlanta, Georgia. Occupying a narrow lot on Peachtree Street, one and half blocks south of North Avenue, the house was built in 1901 for Dr. Rufus Mathewson Rose. The architect was Emil Charles Seiz (1873-1940), who designed many residential and commercial structures in the city, including the 1924 Massellton Apartments on Ponce de Leon Avenue.
Ashlawn, also called the Joshua Perkins House, is a two-story, central-hall frame farmhouse dating from the 18th century in Hanover, Connecticut. The house's namesake is its first owner, Joshua Perkins, a farmer and son of the prominent Captain Matthew Perkins, a farmer and founding member of the Hanover Society. Ashlawn's main house has a five-bay front facade with pilasters supporting broken-base pediments. The inside has well-documented woodwork for its moldings and wainscotting. The house has integrated an older structure, likely a central-chimney structure built in the second quarter of the 18th century, as an ell.
Chesterfield Inn, also known as Chesterfield Inn and Motor Lodge, was a historic hotel located at Myrtle Beach in Horry County, South Carolina. The Chesterfield Inn consisted of two three-story, rectangular buildings constructed in 1946 and 1965. The 1946 building was of frame construction with a brick veneer exterior, with an end to front gable roof, and a raised basement foundation. It was an unusual example of Colonial Revival style architecture in the Myrtle Beach area.
The Capron-Phillips House is a historic house located at 1129 Main Street in the South Coventry village of Coventry, Connecticut. Built about 1864, it is a well-preserved example of Italianate architecture, retaining significant interior and exterior features. It also served as Coventry's post office and drug store for many years. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, and is a contributing property to the South Coventry Historic District.
Hamer's General Store was a small commercial building on the eastern side of the village of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, United States. Declared a historic site in the 1980s because of its architecture, it is no longer standing.
The Boyd and Sallie Gilleland House is a historic residence in Dawsonville, Georgia. It is located at 3 Shepard's Lane on Georgia Highway 9, leading to Atlanta.
The Peck-Porter House is a historic house at the corner of Main and Middle Streets in Walpole, New Hampshire. Built in 1839, it is an unusually elaborate and sophisticated example of Greek Revival architecture, given its small-town setting. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
The Hart-Rice House is a historic house at 408 The Hill in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It is located on The Hill, a cluster of closely spaced historic buildings southeast of Deer Street, some of which were moved to the site as part of a road widening project. Built sometime between 1749 and 1756, it is a little-altered example of Georgian architecture with only modest Federal period alterations. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
The Munro-Hawkins House is a historic house on Vermont Route 7A in southern Shaftsbury, Vermont. Built in 1807, it is a well-preserved example of transitional Georgian-Federal period architecture, designed by local master builder Lavius Fillmore. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
The District No. 2 School is a historic school building at 2442 Polly Hubbard Road in Georgia, Vermont. Built in 1843 and enlarged in 1931, it is a good local example of mid-19th century vernacular Greek Revival school architecture. It was restored in the 1990s after being abandoned for some years, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
