Ada Band is an Indonesian pop rock band formed in Jakarta in 1995. The group currently consists of Indra Sinaga (vocals), Marshal Surya Rachman (guitars), Dika Satjadibrata (bass) & Adhy Pratama (drums). [3] [4]

Contents

Ada Band are known for their hit singles, such as "Manusia Bodoh", "Yang Terbaik Bagimu", "Masih", "Seharusnya", "Ough" & "Bilakah". The first album titled Seharusnya (Should), released in 1997. [1] Their 2004 work, Heaven of Love, was the band's key seller, going quadruple platinum in their home nation. [5]

Slank is an Indonesian rock band. It was founded in 1983 by teenagers in an alley street in Jakarta called Gang Potlot. The band is known for songs which are often accompanied with political and socially conscious lyrics. It continues to be active and has received many awards from the Indonesian music industry. Along with God Bless and Dewa 19, they are dubbed as one of the greatest rock bands in the history of Indonesian popular music. The name Slank was inspired by friends who often called them "slengean guys". Slank is an abbreviation of the word "slenge'an" and changes the letter G to K to improve the aesthetic. All personnel have compromised to agree on this naming. In making music, Slank voices his concern for music and the interests of all levels of society in Indonesia.

Led by bassist Donnie Purnell and front man Steve Whiteman, the band's classic lineup was rounded out by guitarists Ronnie "10/10" Younkins and Brian "Damage" Forsythe and drummer Jimmy "Chocolate" Chalfant. Kix covered AC/DC, Aerosmith, April Wine, Led Zeppelin, and others before signing with Atlantic Records in 1981. Since peaking in the late 1980s, band members continued to record and tour until their disbandment in 2023.

Ratu was an Indonesian music duo formed in 1999 with Maia Estianty, then the wife of musician Ahmad Dhani, on instruments and Pinkan Mambo on vocals. Ratu entered the Indonesian musical scene with their first album, Bersama. After a short break caused by Mambo's departure in 2004, the group formed anew with Mulan Kwok as vocalist. Free Your Mind is the second album from the Indonesian pop group Maliq & D'Essentials. As opposed to the previous album, which revolved around core duo Angga and Widi Puradiredja with the support of assorted musicians, this album marked the beginning of Maliq & D'Essentials as a band in the studio. Released on 26 February 2007, it is also the last album to feature guitarist Satrio Moersid, who left in mid-November of the same year to start the band Alexa. A repackaged edition of the album, including two new songs and a reggae version of "Beri Cinta Waktu", was released in early 2008 with Moersid removed from the revised album artwork.

David Kurnia Albert Dorfel, usually referred to as David Noah, is an Indonesian musician. He is the keyboardist of Indonesian rock band Noah since 2008 after becoming their additional musician in 2006. This position was achieved after undergoing 2 auditions in front of the personnel, as well as being part of the crew and joining Noah's tour for 2 years. David has also collaborated with and wrote song for other musicians, receiving an Anugerah Planet Muzik nomination in 2018 for his collaboration with D'Masiv and Rossa, "Pernah Memiliki", and an Anugerah Musik Indonesia nomination in 2021 for his part in the writing of Stevan Pasaribu's song "Belum Siap Kehilangan".
