Jeep is an American automobile marque, now owned by multi-national corporation Stellantis. Jeep has been part of Chrysler since 1987, when Chrysler acquired the Jeep brand, along with other assets, from their previous owner American Motors Corporation (AMC).

The Chevrolet C/K is a series of trucks that was manufactured by General Motors from the 1960 to 2002 model years. Marketed by both the Chevrolet and GMC divisions, the C/K series encompassed a wide range of vehicles. While most commonly associated with pickup trucks, the model line also included chassis-cab trucks and medium-duty trucks and served as the basis for GM full-size SUVs. The Ford F-Series is a series of light-duty trucks marketed and manufactured by Ford since the 1948 model year. The Mitsubishi Triton or Mitsubishi L200 is a mid-size pickup truck produced by Mitsubishi Motors. In Japan, where it has only been sold intermittently and in small numbers, it was originally known as the Mitsubishi Forte and from 1991 as the Strada. In the United States, Chrysler Corporation sold captive imports as the Dodge D50, Dodge Ram 50 and Plymouth Arrow truck, and Mitsubishi marketed it as the Mitsubishi Mighty Max until 2002.

American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) was founded in 1997 in Montana, United States, and is a manufacturer of off-road and overland vehicle parts and accessories, as well as turnkey off-road vehicle packages, primarily based on Jeep Wranglers, but since 2015 also on Ram Pickups. Michael Chetcuti and business partner, Michael Collins, bought into the 15-year-old business in 2006 as partners with founder Dave Harriton.
