Raymond Allende (born July 2, 1990), known professionally as ARTZ (previously Anakin ARTZ), is an American rapper, songwriter, and recording artist, event and art curator, from Brooklyn, New York. He is known for his song "off-white", and NFTs artwork. He is the owner and founder of record label and media company, RejectDreams.

Personal life

Raymond Allende was born on July 2, 1990, and grew up in East New York. At the age of 18, [1] he was hit by a stray bullet. [2]

Career

Music

At the age 15, ARTZ started his career with recording his first song, which was released in his first full-length project, “Established 1990”.[ citation needed ] He has collaborated with notable artists such as Busta Rhymes, [3] Pop Smoke,. [4]

In January 2021, his song “Off White” charted 8th on Apple Music, with his extended play “I love Lucy’s” trending and appearing on the main page of the iTunes for weeks. Moreover, his work “Fiona Apple” made it to “The New York” playlist on iTunes. During this time, he made national and international tours, including to Canada, Europe and the UK, [5] and his works surpassed half a billion streams. [4]

His work has been placed on rotation by major radio stations, such as “November” and “Remember” by Pakistani national radio stations, [6] and "The Force" [7] by New York's radio station Hot 97 and Z100, [4] and last fm. [8] [9]

Rory William Quigley, known professionally as Harry Fraud, is an American record producer. Dimarjio Antonio Jenkins, better known by his stage name Houdini, was a Canadian rapper from Toronto, Ontario. He first gained recognition from his certified gold single "Late Nights" which contained vocal features from Burna Bandz and was released in 2017. This was followed by the singles "Myself" and "Backseat". He was also known for his frequent collaborations with fellow rappers Pressa, Robin Banks and NorthSideBenji, which includes the latter's certified gold single "Levels" which saw a feature from Houdini. He released his debut mixtape Hou I Am on February 13, 2019. His sophomore mixtape Hou Woulda Thought followed on August 2, 2019. His debut EP underGROUND was released on March 18, 2020. This would be his last release during his lifetime as he was shot and killed on May 26, 2020.

Thomas MacDonald is a Canadian rapper and singer. He first rose to prominence with the release of his 2017 debut single "Dear Rappers". His 2021 single, "Fake Woke" marked his first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100. His 2024 single, "Facts" peaked at number 16 on the chart, and number 42 on the Canadian Hot 100. Known for his extensive tattoos and political lyrics, his rhetoric has been described as right-wing and anti-establishment, with heavy criticism of "woke" culture.

Lontrell Donell Williams, Jr., known professionally as Pooh Shiesty, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He signed with Gucci Mane's 1017 Records, an imprint of Atlantic Records in 2020, he rose to prominence following his collaborations with the label's founder and cohorts. That same year, his single "Back in Blood" peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. It preceded the release of his debut commercial mixtape Shiesty Season (2021), which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. His stage name was given by his late brother, who adapted his childhood nickname "Mr. Pooh" with the Vernacular slang term "shiesty"—referential of his lifestyle.
