A Thousand Miles Left Behind is the second studio album by American country music band Gloriana. It was released on July 31, 2012 via Emblem Music Group/Warner Bros. Records. [2]
It is their first album since the departure of band member Cheyenne Kimball in 2011. [3] According to group member Tom Gossin, the album was completed before Kimball's departure, but the songs (including "Wanna Take You Home") were then re-recorded without her. A song that Kimball wrote (called "Piece of My Heart" [4] ) was also removed from the track list. [5]
The trio had a hand in writing all of the album's eleven tracks. [6] Three singles have been released from the project, including the group's first top five song, "(Kissed You) Good Night." [7]
A Thousand Miles Left Behind debuted at No. 2 on Country Albums, and No. 11 on Billboard 200, selling 23,000 copies in its first week. [8] It has sold 118,000 copies in the US as of May 2015. [9]

Cheyenne Nichole Kimball is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and mandolinist. Her debut album, The Day Has Come, was released in July 2006, coinciding with an MTV reality series following her entry into the music industry. This album produced a chart single on the Billboard Hot 100 in "Hanging On." From 2008 to 2011, she was a member of the country music band Gloriana, which made its chart debut in 2009.

Burn Your Playhouse Down – The Unreleased Duets is the 60th and final studio album by American country music singer George Jones released on August 19, 2008 on the Bandit Records label. It features duets never before released, including some that were cut from his 1994 duets album The Bradley Barn Sessions. The only new recording in the collection is "You And Me And Time", a song Jones recorded with his daughter by Tammy Wynette, Georgette. A music video accompanied the song. The album features several duets with artist from outside the country music pantheon, including Mark Knopfler, Leon Russell, and Keith Richards. The album peaked at number 15 on the Billboard country albums chart. Of the album's title track, Andrew Meuller of Uncut opined in July 2013, "The segue from Richards trying to sing like Jones to Jones actually singing like Jones is hilarious."
Gloriana was an American country music group founded in 2008 by Cheyenne Kimball, Rachel Reinert (vocals), and brothers Tom Gossin and Mike Gossin. Prior to the group's foundation, Kimball recorded as a solo artist. The original lineup recorded one self-titled album for Emblem/Reprise Records in 2009, which included their first chart hit, "Wild at Heart". Kimball left before the release of the band's second album A Thousand Miles Left Behind, which produced their highest-charting single, "(Kissed You) Good Night", along with the top 20 "Can't Shake You". After a third album, Three, Reinert left as well, effectively disbanding the group.

Reinert began her career as a recording artist in 2008 as a member of the country group Gloriana, contributing to gold and platinum singles and opening tours for Taylor Swift, Sheryl Crow, Rascal Flatts, Alan Jackson, Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, and Zac Brown Band. In 2016, she left Gloriana and began a career as a solo artist. Reinert signed to Nashville-based independent label Green Iris Records and released her debut solo album Into the Blue in March, 2020.
