The main series of role-playing video games (RPGs), referred as the "core series" by their developers, has continued on each generation of Nintendo's handhelds. The most recently released core series games, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, were released on November 18, 2022, for the Nintendo Switch.

Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express is a 2006 adventure game developed by AWE Productions and published by The Adventure Company for Microsoft Windows. It is the second installment in The Adventure Company's Agatha Christie series. The setting is five years before the events in Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None, with a largely unrelated storyline. The story takes place in 1934 and follows an amateur sleuth, Antoinette Marceau, and her investigation of a murder with twelve possible suspects aboard the Orient Express, which has been blocked by an avalanche in Yugoslavia. She is aided by famous detective Hercule Poirot.

This is the fourth Scooby-Doo video game to use a laugh track. A successor to the game, Scooby-Doo and the Spooky Swamp, was released in 2010.
Last Window: The Secret of Cape West, known in Japan as Last Window: Mayonaka no Yakusoku, is an adventure video game developed by Cing and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS handheld game console. It is the sequel to Hotel Dusk: Room 215, starring protagonist Kyle Hyde, and takes place one year after those events. Set in 1980 Los Angeles, the Cape West Apartments, the story deals with a new mystery in a new location, but it also delves into some unanswered questions from Kyle Hyde's past. Last Window was the last game developed by Cing before the company filed for bankruptcy on 1 March 2010. Unlike its predecessor, it was never released in North America. A successor titled Chase: Cold Case Investigations - Distant Memories would be released in 2016 developed by Arc System Works with many former developers of Cing working on the game.
Alice in Wonderland is an action-adventure video game published by Disney Interactive Studios. Based on Tim Burton's 2010 film of the same name, it was released in the same week as the film for the Wii, Nintendo DS, Microsoft Windows and Zeebo, with the soundtrack being composed by video game music composer Richard Jacques. The Wii, DS, and PC versions were released on March 2, 2010. The DS game is completely different from the Wii and PC versions.

Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 2, Wii, and Nintendo DS consoles and also for Microsoft Windows. The game was first released on September 14, 2010, in North America and was released in the following weeks in PAL regions. It is the fifth Scooby-Doo! video game title to come to sixth generation consoles. The game is a follow-up to Scooby-Doo! First Frights.
