Sierra Leone, officially the Republic of Sierra Leone, is a country on the southwest coast of West Africa. It shares its southeastern border with Liberia and is bordered by Guinea to the north. With a land area of 71,740 km2 (27,699 sq mi), Sierra Leone has a tropical climate and with a variety of environments ranging from savannas to rainforests. According to the 2015 census, Sierra Leone has a population of 7,092,113, with Freetown serving as both the capital and largest city. The country is divided into five administrative regions, which are further subdivided into 16 districts.

The main opposition the All People's Congress, which won the most seats in Parliament, boycotted the election process in protest and did not nominate a candidate for speaker. Bundu is a veteran politician, and a very close ally and personal friend of Sierra Leone's president Julius Maada Bio.
Sorie Ibrahim Koroma commonly known as S.I. Koroma was a Sierra Leonean politician, labor activist, and one of the founding members of the All People's Congress political party. He served as first Vice President of Sierra Leone from April 19, 1971, to retirement on November 28, 1985, under president Siaka Stevens.
Momodu Koroma is a Sierra Leonean politician. He is a former Minister of Foreign Affairs and a member of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP). He became foreign minister in May 2002, as part of a new cabinet appointed following President Ahmed Tejan Kabbah's re-election earlier in the month. Koroma had previously been Minister of Presidential Affairs. Koroma was born in the small town of Yonibana in the Tonkolili District, his father was from the Temne ethnic group, while his mother came from the Mende ethnic group. It is very rare in Sierra Leone to see inter-ethnic marriages between Sierra Leone's two largest ethnic group the Temne and Mende.
St Edward's Secondary School is a public Catholic secondary school in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Since its inception it has remained one of the country's most prestigious schools. While St. Edwards is designed to be an all-male school, female students are permitted to enroll as A Level candidates. It is affiliated with St. Edward's Primary School.
Joseph Bandabla Dauda widely known as J. B. Dauda, was a Sierra Leonean politician. He was Second Vice-President of Sierra Leone, Attorney-General and Minister of Justice from November 1991 to April 1992. Later he was Minister of Finance in 2002, Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2010 to 2012, and Minister of Internal Affairs from 2013 to 2016.
Mohamed Lamin Kamara is a former Sierra Leonean politician. Kamara served as foreign minister from 1992 to 1993. Under the Ahmed Tejan Kabbah administration, he was the deputy foreign minister.

Sheku Badara Bashiru Dumbuya, commonly known as S.B.B. Dumbuya, is a Sierra Leonean politician and former Speaker of the House of Parliament of Sierra Leone. A prominent member of the ruling All People's Congress (APC), S.B.B. Dumbuya was elected as Speaker on January 21, 2014 with one hundred parliamentarians voted in his favor, and fifteen parliamentarians voted for his opponent Bu-Buakei Jabbi of the main opposition Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP). S.B.B. Dumbuya succeeded Abel Nathaniel Bankole Stronge as speaker.

Abu Dumbuya is a Sierra Leonean footballer who plays as a midfielder for East End Lions and the Sierra Leone national team. He was named in Sierra Leone's squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in January and February 2022.
