Ahmed Nazif served as the Prime Minister of Egypt from 14 July 2004 to 29 January 2011,when his cabinet was dismissed by President Hosni Mubarak in light of a popular uprising that led to the Egyptian Revolution of 2011. Ain Shams University,Faculty of Medicine or School of Medicine,is a public Egyptian graduate school and one of the faculties of Ain Shams University. Because of his significant contributions to the housing,infrastructure,and civil engineering,Moharram received honorary medals and awards such as the Medal of the Order of the Republic of the 1st Degree in 1964 from the former president Gamal Abdel Nasser,Medal of the Order of Merit of the 1st Degree in 1985 from the former president Hosni Mubarak,Mubarak's Award in 2002,and several other honors in Egypt. There is also a prize named after him at Cairo University for contributions in engineering.
